M193 GT-OD Overdrive

The MXR M88 Bass Octave pedal is a bass guitar effects pedal designed to add an octave below the fundamental note to the player’s sound. It is powered by a single 9-volt battery or Dunlop’s ECB-003 AC adapter. The pedal features a dry/wet mix control, allowing the user to adjust the amount of octave effect in their signal. According to reviews, the MXR M88 tracks well with the player’s playing and continues to produce useful sub-tones for lower fundamentals, even when other pedals may give up.

The MXR Sugar Drive Pedal provides a diverse range of clear and transparent overdrive tones, from sauced up boosting to blown-tube distortion. It's based on a rare overdrive pedal that has acquired a mythical reputation among fanatical tone-seekers thanks to its unique circuit design.

The key elements of that circuit design are the Drive control and something called a voltage doubler. First, the Drive control on this pedal doesn't just increase the intensity of the overdrive pedal. It starts with your clean signal and then blends it with the overdrive effect as you turn it up, replicating the smooth transition of an amplifier going from clean to dirty. The voltage doubler increases overall headroom, which opens everything up nicely.

Layers bases its main experience off a threefold sustain effect that deals in, its namesake, layers. Three onboard sustain layers play concurrently to one another to fashion complex and interesting weaves of notes, as triggered by a variety of methods. By utilizing the dedicated footswitch, Layers can be played manually to sustain notes or remotely by playing dynamics. The pedal’s Trigger knob control can be used to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic trigger sustain function or disable it altogether to offer early insight into this pedal’s options of interactivity.
