The MXR Tremolo's six tremolo waveforms represent classic and iconic sources of the effect as well as new sounds concocted by the MXR design team. First, the MXR style recreates the organic sound and pulse of the much beloved M159 MXR Stereo Tremolo. Next, the Bias style takes after the lush, power-soaked compression of tremolo effects that came equipped on early 1960s tube amplifiers. The Revo style, an original innovation, turns the optical tremolo waveform backwards for more exaggerated peaks and valleys. The Opto style emulates the smooth pulsating tremolo generated by photo cells in many popular amplifiers. Inspired by an iconic outboard effect, the SQR setting produces choppy, super pronounced tremolo. Finally, the Harm style recreates the trippy, phase-like tremolo produced by certain rare vintage amplifiers.

Finally you can get those 80’s vintage rack chorus sounds that define killer chorus sounds.  This was not an easy development.  It is a tough and difficult thing to accomplish in such a small package.  And, Keeley couldn’t leave good enough alone.  They came up with a new Rotary Cabinet package that gives you a proximity control.  This controls how far away you are from the spinning speaker cabinet.  This adds a depth and distance to the cabinet and is a touch like a reverb control.  It gives you that spatial expanse that can give you presence or depth in the chorus-like rotations.  Lastly, while we were spinning things, we crafted a RotoFlange sound that has a simple negative feedback control.  Easy to use and gets you the most classic flanger sounds possible."

The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

Er spielt den GAS-789SL seit Jahren und jetzt auch den SL-OD Overdrive vor seinen angezerrten / verzerrten Verstärkern um den Ton noch schneller und differenzierter zu machen, ohne den Grundsound dabei zu ändern. Zwei Overdrive Pedale (Low Gain und High Gain) + Boost Pedal (Clean Boost) mit +20 dB Ausgangslevel Boost (Kippschalter) in einer Box, drei für jedes Pedal getrennte Bass Boost (Kippschalter) um die tiefen Frequenzen zu pushen, ohne dass der Sound matschig wird = variabler geht es nicht. Our DB200 Mini DI Box converts any high-impedance 1/4" source to a low-impedance XLR signal ready to send via a long cable run to a mixer or PA system. A cab simulator switch enables sending the input signal through an emulated amp directly to a mixer without using a physical amp. There's a switch for either +20 dB of gain to boost weak signals or a -20 dB pad to prevent clipping from louder sources. A ground-lift switch defeats ground-loop hum. When not using the DI, the true-bypass switch eliminates the circuitry of the pedal from the signal path. Balanced and unbalanced outputs provide the option to send the signal to an amp, a mixer, or both. This pedal includes hook-and-loop strips for convenient pedalboard mounting. Tape delay was invented in the late 40s when Les Paul strung two Ampex Model 200A reel-to-reel tape recorders together. A little later, in 1953, Ray Butts invented the Echosonic, the first actual tape delay unit. This would be followed up by the Echoplex EP-1 in 1961 from Mike Battle and the Space Echo from Roland in 1974. The JHS Pedals 3 Series Tape Delay is a simplified and faithful throwback to these classic units. The Mix control lets you control how much clean signal is blended in with the wet (delayed) signal (on the original unit, this was called Echo Volume). Tape Speed acts as a simulation of the RE-201’s tape motor speeding up and slowing down and determines how short or long the delay effect is. The Repeats control goes from a single repeat to many, reminiscent of a sound being written onto the tape loop with loss of fidelity each time. Finally, when the Flutter toggle is turned on (up position), it replicates the wear & tear to the mechanical parts of a tape machine that happens over time. This causes mild modulation, warble, and flutter sounds in the echo path of the delay that so many players desire.
