Das Echosex 2 ist eine moderne Version der Echorec-Einheit für Spieler, die die Delay-Sounds von früher mit der Zuverlässigkeit eines modernen Pedals wünschen. Sein vollständig analoger und röhrenförmiger Signalweg verleiht dem Pedal sein Vintage-Gefühl und seinen Ton, indem er die Wärme der Röhre zum Klang und dem organischen Gefühl des Analogen hinzufügt. Die Delays werden von einem digitalen PT2399-Chip erzeugt, der den Klang von Tonbandköpfen nachahmt und so für das ultimative Vintage-Gefühl sorgt. Die kompakte Größe und das robuste Gehäuse sorgen dafür, dass das Gerät auch unterwegs überlebt und nur wenig Platz auf dem Pedalboard einnimmt.

Eine Auswahl an Reglern ermöglicht eine umfassende Klangformung, von der Anzahl und Länge der Wiederholungen bis hin zum Grad der Beschädigung des Delays. Mit den zusätzlichen Dip-Schaltern kannst du die Eingangs- und Ausgangspegel so einstellen, dass sie zu Humbuckern mit hohem Ausgangspegel, aktiven Gitarren und Bässen, Keyboards, Drums, Mikrofonvorverstärkern und allem anderen, was du anschließen kannst, passen. Du kannst wählen, ob die Wiederholungen plötzlich aufhören oder ausgeblendet werden sollen, wenn der Bypass aktiviert ist. Die Verzögerungszeit des Pedals kann zwischen 60ms und 660ms eingestellt werden, mit der Möglichkeit, eine endlose Selbstoszillation zu erzeugen. Mit dem Age of Damage Control kannst du den Abnutzungsgrad des Delays einstellen und so die Abnutzung mechanischer Teile in alten Delays nachahmen.

The Echosex 2 provides a modern version of the echorec unit to players wanting the delay sounds of old with the reliability of a modern pedal. Its fully analogue and tube-state signal path gives the pedal its vintage feel and tone, adding the warmth of the tube to the sound and organic feel of analogue. The delays are produced by a digital PT2399 chip, designed to mimic the sound of tape heads for the ultimate vintage feel. Its compact size and robust casing ensures it can survive life on the road, and takes up little room on your pedalboard.

A selection of controls deliver extensive tone shaping, from the number and length of repeats, to the level of damage the delay has. The addition of dip switches provides further adjustments, letting you set the in/output levels to suit high output humbuckers, active guitars and basses, keyboards, drums, mic preamps, and anything else you can plug in. You can choose whether the repeats suddenly stop, or fade out when the bypass is engaged. The pedal’s delay time can be set between 60ms to 660ms, with the ability to create an endless self-oscillation. Use the age of damage control to set the level of wear the delay has, emulation the wear and tear of mechanical parts in old delays.

Das NEUE Echosex 3° reproduziert einen einzelnen Kopf des Vintage Binson Echorec, aber mit der Möglichkeit, diesen Kopf zu bewegen, um die Verzögerungszeit wie ein modernes Delay mit dem gleichen Vintage-Sound zu ändern!, Gurus hat die Vorverstärkersektion verbessert, die jetzt bei 262Volt läuft (genau wie das Vintage Binson!), was für einen riesigen Headroom sorgt und die Obertöne akzentuiert. Diese verbesserte Eingangssektion ist nun selbst bei stärksten Signalen von kräftigen Humbuckern, aktiven Bässen, FX-Loops oder Keyboards/Synths nicht mehr sättigbar... Der Ton ist unverfälscht und dynamisch, das „Zischen“, das bei längeren Delay-Einstellungen auftritt, ist verschwunden, ohne dass der „dunkle“ Charakter der Vintage „Tape“ oder „Magnetic-Drum“ Echo Units verloren geht.

True Bypass mit goldenem Pin-Relais, das Gerät ist superleise ohne wahrnehmbare Geräusche. Das etwas kleinere Gehäuse und die neue „Top-Jack“-Konfiguration sorgen dafür, dass es in jedes Pedalboard passt.

The NEW Echosex 3° reproduces a single Head of the vintage Binson Echorec but with the ability to move that head to change the delay time like a modern delay  with the same vintage sound!,  Gurus has improved the preamp section which now runs at 262Volts (Just like the vintage Binson!)  this makes for huge headroom, results in accentuating the harmonics. This improved input section is now impossible to saturate even with strongest signals from powerful humbuckers, active basses, Fx loops or Keyboards/Synths… The tone is pristine and dynamic, Gone is the “hiss” found in longer delay time settings however there’s no loss of the “dark” character of the vintage “Tape” or “Magnetic-Drum” echo units.

True bypass with golden pin relay, the unit is super quiet with no perceptible noise Plus the slightly smaller box and new “top jack” configuration will make for an easy fit into any pedalboard.

Inspiriert vom legendären Fender Vibroverb-Verstärker von 1963 hat Gurus Amps das Sinusoid entwickelt: das erste 100% analoge, röhrenbetriebene Reverb- und Vibrato-Pedal auf dem Markt.
Gurus konzentrierte sich darauf, den Vibrato-Kanal des Vibroverb in einem Pedalformat nachzubilden und ein echtes röhrenbetriebenes optisches Tremolo zu entwickeln. Die Reverb-Seite enthält einen echten Accutronics Federhalltank.

Inspired by the legendary 1963 Fender Vibroverb amplifier, Gurus Amps designed the Sinusoid: the first 100% analog, tube driven Reverb and Vibrato pedal on the market.
Gurus focused on replicating the Vibroverb's Vibrato channel in a pedal format, designing a real tube driven optical tremolo. The Reverb side contains an actual Accutronics spring reverb tank.
