Der „Cornstar“ begann als unsere Version eines „Amp in a Box“-Pedals. Dieser Amp war ein Marshall Plexi. Als das Pedal Gestalt annahm und weiterentwickelt und optimiert wurde, wurde es mehr als nur ein Plexi-Klonpedal und bekam einen ganz eigenen Charakter, was unserer Meinung nach ein fantastisches Overdrive-/Distortion-Pedal ergibt.

Ja, Sie können mit dem Cornstar einen schönen Marshall-ähnlichen Sound erzielen, indem Sie von einem Vintage-gepushten Plexi zu einem aggressiveren, modern klingenden Amp mit mehr Gain und Biss wechseln. he ‘Cornstar’ started out as our take on the ‘amp in a box’ pedal. That amp being a Marshall Plexi. As the pedal took shape and was developed and tweaked, it became more than just a Plexi clone pedal & took on a whole character of its own, creating in our opinion a fantastic overdrive/distortion pedal.

Yes you can get a nice Marshall-esque sound from the Cornstar, going from a vintage pushed Plexi to a more aggressive modern sounding amp with more gain and bite. Some of our other supporters have likened it to a driven ‘Cornford’, ‘Vox’ or ‘Tweed’. We just think it’s a great sounding pedal.

Cornstar

The ‘Fuzzy Pickle’ is based around the classic 60’s fuzz of the Sam Ash & the Astrotone with a few GCP tweaks added for good measure. The pedal does have its own unique idiosyncratic ways but these add to the pedals appeal. Take your time to find that sweet spot & you’ll be in tonal heaven.

The unity volume is quiet high with it starting somewhere around 12 O’clock. The Gain pot benefits from being past noon but once there it interacts lovely with the volume to create some lovely tones. The Tone pot is exactly the opposite, preferring not to go past 4pm, around noon is ideal.

Fuzzy Pickle

Dieses Dual-Fuzz wurde als Signature-Pedal für Mike Vennart (Oceansize, Biffy Clyro) hergestellt. Die linke Seite „IC78“ ist ein originalgetreuer Klon des Op-Amp Big Muff aus den späten 70ern, der durch Billy Corgan berühmt wurde. Die rechte Seite „Mr V“ ist eine Version des Lovetone Big Cheese. Beide Fuzzes können zusammen gestapelt werden.

This dual fuzz was produced as a signature pedal for Mike Vennart (Oceansize, Biffy Clyro). The left side 'IC78' is a faithful clone of the late 70's Op-amp Big Muff made famous by Billy Corgan. The right side 'Mr V' is a take on the Lovetone Big Cheese. Both fuzzes can be stacked together.

Das „Pumpkin Pi“ ist ein zweikanaliges Muff-Pedal, das zwei klassische Muffs in einem unverwechselbaren Pedal vereint. Der erste Kanal ist der klassische „Green Russian Muff“, der von so vielen Spielern wie Dan Auerbach von den Black Keys und Jack White geliebt wird. Wir haben einen 3-Wege-Tonschalter hinzugefügt, mit dem Sie zwischen einem Boost von 10 dB und 4 dB zu einem klassischen Scoop-Muff-Ton wechseln können.

Der zweite Kanal ist der „IC78“-Muff. Dieser Muff verwendet einen integrierten Schaltkreis oder IC-Chip anstelle der üblichen Transistoren, um Ihnen einen moderner klingenden Muff zu bieten. The ‘Pumpkin Pi’ is a twin channel muff pedal that brings together 2 classic muffs into one distinctive pedal. The first channel is the classic ‘Green Russian muff’ loved by so many players such as Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys & Jack White. We’ve added a 3 way tonal switch which allows you to switch between a10db’s & 4db’s boost to a classic scooped Muff tones.

The second channel is the ‘IC78’ muff. This muff uses an Integrated Circuit or IC chip rather than the usual Transistors to give you a more modern sounding muff. This type of muff was apparently used by the Smashing Pumpkins when recording their Siamese dream album. We’ve added a tone bypass switch to the ‘IC78’ for a more direct signal path with added grit.
