The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections. Boutique Board 

The Architect of Reality is a dual channel preamp pedal with the ability to mix the low and high gain channel together in the AOR mode for more tone tweaking ability with both channels on independent footswitches. It’s powered internally at 36v+ (9v boss style used) for more headroom and amp-like sensitivity.

The control panel on the Architect of Reality follows the same layout as most modern amps with and overall Presence, Bass, Mid and Treble, but for build cost and durability the pull boosts (of that 80’s classic amp) for each EQ band have been placed on toggle switches. In the first channel you control the Master Volume and Preamp Gain with a heavy crunch and rock feel like your favorite Heavy Rock classics with the feel of a familiar British build amp. Engaging the 2nd channel on the pedal pulls the AOR channel on the original amp and gives you the option of blending its gain with the first Preamp Gain for an over-the-top beast that can be tight for Thrash and Heavy Metal to the darker side of gain and sitting in the Doom and Stoner Metal territory

Athos has been redesigned with a smaller footprint but still the same massive tone as before.

– Controls –

Top Row:

• Boost which pushes the signal and adds more volume
• Presence adds more bite to your tone
•Saturation adds more hair and saturation

Bottom Row:

• Volume controls the overall volume of the pedal
• Tone counter clockwise is a deeper softer tone while cranking it adds cut and aggression
• Gain is what we’re here for, at Zero there’s still a nice M*rshall like crunch because if you want a clean tone just turn it off.

Built for Thrash and Sludge, but levels with low tuned Doom as with all of our builds, Athos is a fire breather and now with the smaller footprint will fit on any board large or small.

This model combines the best of Purple and Black with more lows and volume plus the added Bias control to manipulate the fuzz saturation and structure of Soma. We’re excited for this new update and now being more pedalboard friendly we hope you can squeeze one on your board soon!

Soma is a tuned version of our Massif Fuzz with custom tonestack similar of the Doom/Sludge Metal giant The Tall Font Russian but with new adjustments for 2022.

The Massif’s circuit was adjusted with more gain and cut but still retains the open mid response to keep you above the mix. An added bonus is we added a the Bias on the in outside you decide you want a more sputtery hellacious fuzz, full clockwise is the stock setting for maximum sustain and gain.

 

Controls:

Volume – Adjusts the level output

Tone – The feel of your standard BMP tone control

Body – Shifts the low/mid low range in conjunction with the Tone knob

Fuzz – Adjusts the Fuzz level

Bias – Controls the fuzz saturation and structure

The Pharaoh’s unruly brother, LSTR provides the opposite of the Pharaoh. The LSTR is an all-out rock machine tuned and blended to deliver the signature Black Arts low end along with more fuzz than mamma allows , unique tone controls and LSTR’s understated, striking beauty. LSTR is from the same BMP family, but unlike the Pharaoh, which is dialed back a little, LSTR is the action! LSTR is GO! LSTR can deliver fuzz bordering on distortion; tones go from the traditional muff scooped sound to the Pharaohish wide open tones. Point your tone knobs toward each other for the traditional BMP scoop, and away from each other to get into the more wide open Pharaoh tones.

You’ve asked me for a dedicated Bass Pedal and I’ve listened. Gain III on The Mountain has been a bassist’s favorite so we took that in mind and tried to make you the perfect Bass Distortion to rival the best that’s already out there.

This year’s Doomfest Massif is the nastiest one yet. Riding the bias and gain on this pedal it shows a hectic fuzz quality with a ton of gain and low end to fit down tuned guitar and bass in any application a fuzz is required (*all applications)

Loaded with dual BC548 this year instead of the BC108 for a more uniform and quieter build, sometimes the NOS BC108’s and 109’s can catch AM radios and with the amount of gain on this pedal we wanted to curve the noise the best we could. Check out the video below for a clip of this build, keep in mind it’s using an EL84 amp which has more chime than a 6l6, EL34 or KT88 type of amp.

New V2 version Ritual fuzz has more gain, compression and low mids on tap, roll guitar volume back to 9 for more bite and less compression. The Destroyer will make a hole that few can follow.

The Mountain (V3)

Osiris is a ground up design in our way to improve the Overdrive’s and Boost’s most have grown to know over the years, don’t worry, this isn’t the transparent Overdrive or some clone. This is special.

Osiris boasts 18v internal but 9v at the tap so you won’t need any special power source, from there the Volume is hit with 8db of boost to give it a hot and reactive feeling. With this you can use it like a traditional Boost into your overdriven amp and max the Volume and set the Gain to zero and get a responsive note jumping tone. The design itself isn’t your traditional drive so pushing the gain and pushing the Volume turns this into a full on Distortion pedal. Stack this with other OD’s and Dirt’s for an amazing tone also!

The tone section was approached a different way then most. We feel when adding an OD or Boost to your amp you’re not looking to alter your amps tone but kick it into high gear. So we went with a 906hz Slider type designed by Nick at Dunwhich on a pot we’re calling the Depth knob. It starts at noon, that setting is 0, your amp’s natural tone. Pushing it adds more low end and heft while rolling it back cuts the mids and adds tightness and aggression for Thrash and Death Metal riffs. Use the Depth to cut the flub from a Boogie Rect. or add more Depth to your 5150 for more punishing riffs!

With the Depth knob and 18v to add more heft and headroom you can turn a small Crush 12 into a monster! We are known to cater to the larger amp crowd, but we wanted to make something useful for the guys that just can’t play in ear bleed volumes at home and in their apartment. Osiris will turn your Gorilla into King Kong with the right tweaking, it’s perfect for Lunchbox and smaller amps.

One of the other features of this pedal is the Blend knob. Understand this isn’t a clean blend but to blend the right amount of drive into your signal. Some players love their tone but just want something a little more, so with the blend you can dial the right amount into your already badass tone..it’s just more badasser now. Also the Blend control is placed RIGHT before the Volume control so that also gives you a few new options not usually in a drive pedal. With the blend in the middle the volumes unity gain now is at 2 O’clock. Which means the lower the blend goes the higher the volume needs to be for unity..but there’s a reason for this. Since the Volume is being hit with 8db it doesn’t flub out at all, which means you can roll back the Volume and Blend and use it to make a clean channel out of a single channel amp like a JCM800, the same way you would roll your volume back but now with Osiris you can add Depth and a touch more gain to give it a lively feel and not a snubbed out clean tone.

Finally, in the heart of it all lies a single Germanium D9B diode for a beautiful asymmetrical clipping and to smooth out the Distortion while adding a rich and thick overall tone. The D9B sits in between the fabled Klon D9E and the original true 1N34n Germanium Diode used in countless vintage builds and works so well with this circuit we think you’ll enjoy the lush tone it has to offer.

So in a few words that’s Osiris, but you should plug it in for yourself and see what the fuss is about.

Loaded with NOS BC109c this year’s first FHM Massif is warmer but still aggressive with the gain and punch of the Massif circuit, which fits exceptionally well with Bass, lower tunings as seen on Does It Doom’s video and those after a more warmer vintage feel.
