The FREE THE TONE SC-1 SILKY COMP has succeeded in realizing a natural and smooth sound like a shiny silk cloth by adopting a special soldering process during printed circuit board assembly.

The SC-1 will change the concept of existing compressor pedals. Arpeggios have a flowing, smooth, and natural link between notes, and comping can create sharp grooves. Variations in sound are possible by using the ATTACK control.
The SILKY COMP can be used like a limiter by setting the ATTACK control fully clockwise.

The FREE THE TONE HB-2 HEAT BLASTER features a modern distortion sound. With the HI CUT and LOW CUT switches, you can create variations in sound.

The HI CUT switch cuts the presence range to create a mellow sound that can still cut through. By turning the TONE knob clockwise with the HI CUT switch activated, a mellow sound that remains clear can be obtained. This is especially suitable for guitar solos.

“Creation of a new sound” ― this was the motto for the development of FREE THE TONE “FUTURE FACTORY” FF-1Y. Many digital delay units that implement a modulation function have been introduced to date. In general, the phase of a low frequency oscillator (LFO) used in these modulation circuits changes regularly at a preset cycle. However in our “FUTURE FACTORY,” we succeeded in creating a new modulation sound with a unique method in which signal’s phase changes at random when the signal crosses a certain attenuation level. This creates an unprecedented effect in which a fluctuating spacious sound seems to float in the air. (This function works best when used in Stereo mode.)

A strong attack created at the moment a string is plucked by a pick, followed by a smooth distortion sound containing rich overtones. Crispness in riff playing. Long sustain required for lead solos.

Powerful tone with ample distortion that stands out from the band ensemble sound. If any of these is lacking, then the best distortion sound is not being realized. IF-1D Iron Forest Distortion

The Free The Tone "TRI AVATAR" is a next generation chorus pedal with four signal paths for three chorus sounds (three phases) and one dry signal. In stereo operation the first phase of chorus sound is assigned to the L side, the second phase to the L+R sides, and the third phase to the R side. In monaural operation all of the three phases are mixed together. By mixing three independent chorus sounds the TRI AVATAR adds more width and depth to its output and the result exceeds that which can be achieved by conventional stereo chorus pedals. Problems with usual chorus units such as unintentional pitch changes, sound images with blurred lower end, and noises relating to sweep timing have been solved by combining Free The Tone's analog and digital technologies and with its unique know-how. The result is our completely new chorus pedal that will amaze its users with the various incredible sounds that can be created by a single chorus pedal.
