Die iStomp™ funktioniert wie jede andere Stompbox auch. Man tritt auf den Fußschalter, um den Effekt zu aktivieren und mittels Drehregler lässt sich der Sound an die eigenen Bedürfnisse anpassen.

Der größte Unterschied zwischen der iStomp und anderen Stompboxes ist, dass man die iStomp in ein komplett anderes Pedal aus der angebotenen Linie verwandeln kann. Einfach das iPod touch®, das iPhone® oder das iPad® an die iStomp anschließen und wählen, welches Pedal man aus der Stomp Shop™ App laden will. In ungefähr der gleichen Zeit, die man braucht einen Song herunterzuladen, ist es möglich die iStomp von einem Verzerrer in einen Hall, von einem Phaser in einen Tube Overdrive oder von einem Echo in einen Chorus zu verwandeln. Für den Start kommt die iStomp mit DigiTech’s Total Recall™ Digital Delay und mit dem Redline™ Overdrive.

These controls allow you to add up to eight chorus or four flanger voices and then blend and morph the waveforms in real-time with the Drift knob. Alter the modulation speed in real-time by holding down the momentary footswitch and then release to continue on your voyage through the currents.
