The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. The patchbay module is designed to route connections from underneath your pedalboard to its front, giving you a central access point and tidying up your connections. The A, B, C, and D TRS sockets are wiring thru-connections from the front of MOD 4 to the corresponding sockets on the back. Der „Protein 2 in 1 Overdrive“ ist das Ergebnis einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen David Brown und dem Gitarristen und Produzenten Adam Sniegowski. Nachdem Adam jahrelang auf Tour und im Studio mit Backline-Verstärkern gearbeitet hatte, deren Klangqualität sehr unbeständig sein konnte, wandte er sich an Dave mit dem Wunsch, einen Dual-Overdrive zu entwickeln, der mit jeder Backline, auf die er stoßen würde, großartig klingen würde. Sie begannen mit zwei Overdrive-Effekten, die sie liebten und die sich gut miteinander kombinieren ließen, die jedoch einige inhärente Probleme aufwiesen. Dave machte sich daran, diese Probleme zu beheben, ohne dabei die Seele der Originale zu verlieren.

The Protein 2 in 1 Overdrive is a collaboration between David Brown and guitarist/producer Adam Sniegowski.  After years on the road and in the studio using backline amps that could be very inconsistent,  Adam came to Dave wanting to create a dual overdrive that would sound great with any backline he encountered. They started with two drives they loved, stacked well together, but had a few inherent issues. Dave set out to fix those issues without losing the soul of the originals.

Poolside conversations while staring at your own reflection. The depths of which shall never be known, at least not for another couple thousand years. So it goes.

Before the reflection, is the experience. Before phenomena, or even noumena, is that which is undefinable. That which has never been heard, that which will never be heard again and that which has always been heard but never listened to.

K-field (Simulation mathematics), an  undefined, two-dimensional, non-linear field where past and future forces interact at irregular intervals. Shallow Water generates this k-field by randomly modulating a short time delay to create unexpected shifts in pitch. The result is this non cyclical vibrato/chorus/flanger-type thing favouring old tape flavours.

The water is shallow on this side of the pool. Do not dive and you will not drown.

We decided to start from scratch this time and really explore what tape is all about. Get into those crinkles that make it so magical. We took apart VCRs, we analyzed anything we could find with a tape in it, from camcorders to cassette decks.
