Pedal based on the preamp of the 1955 and 1956 Fender Princeton 5F2 and 5E2, the “Narrow Panel”.
As on the Princeton of those years, a Volume and a Tone.
The Fender 5E2 saturates faster than the 5F2 which stays brighter at high volume, hence the “F to E” control which adjusts the saturation point from 5F2 to 5E2.
And to brighten it all up a Bright switch.

F TO E PREAMP

Das OxyTone FtoE ist ein zweikanaliges Pedal. Ein Vorverstärker, der auf dem des Fender® Champ 57 (5F1 / 5E1) basiert, mit einem Lautstärkeregler und einem "F to E"-Regler. Der Fender® 5E1 sättigt schneller als der 5F1, der bei hoher Lautstärke heller bleibt, daher der "F to E"-Regler, mit dem der Sättigungspunkt von 5F1 auf 5E1 eingestellt werden kann. Und ein transparenter Low-Gain-Overdrive, der auf dem berühmten OxyDrive basiert und leicht modifiziert wurde, um perfekt zum Preamp zu passen.

The OxyTone FtoE is a two-channel pedal. A preamp based on that of the Fender® Champ 57 (5F1 / 5E1) with a volume control and an “F to E” control. The Fender® 5E1 saturates faster than the 5F1 which stays brighter at high volume, hence the “F to E” control which adjusts the saturation point from 5F1 to 5E1. And a transparent low gain overdrive based on the famous OxyDrive slightly modified to match the preamp perfectly.
