The day before yesterday I was thinking, "What would be the best setup for a church bass?", thinking about equipment that belongs to the church, not the musician, a backup, or to lend to a beginner musician. Thinking about quality, versatility and cost-benefit, specifically in that order, I arrived at this setup. I warn you that this is a nerdy talk, and a bit long hahaha. If I wanted something quick I would just put the bass directly into the interface, or if I wanted cost-benefit I would use a Tone Hammer with the MicroSynth.

Kompakter parametrischer Equalizer im Tretminenformat. Es hat drei Bänder und einen Frequenzumfang von 31Hz bis 16kHz.
Jedes Band ist ein unabhängiges Bandpassfilter mit einstellbarer Mittenfrequenz, Filtergüte Q und Pegel.
Die drei Frequenzbänder sind 31Hz - 1,6kHz; 100Hz - 4,8kHz und 300Hz - 16kHz.
Q regelt die Schärfe des Filters. Bei niedrigen Einstellungen klingt es mehr wie ein traditioneller EQ, bei hohen Werten wird es zunehmend resonanter.
Die Pegelregler haben ihre Neutralstellung in der Mitte, liks davon dämpfen sie das entsprechende Band ab, rechts von der Mitte verstärken sie es.

Each band is an independent bandpass filter with adjustable center frequency, quality factor, and gain. Use them to sculpt and shape your tone however you like.

There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. It’s big, it’s expensive, and it has certainly earned its place at the table. Wampler has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced that magical tone in all its glory in an unbelievably small package, and its name is Tumnus. Tumnus is a versatile addition to any setup, any style. Stack it with another pedal to help push or shape the total amount of gain, use it as a stand alone overdrive, or use it as a slightly dirty boost to push the front end of your amp over the edge. You can even use it as a buffer, because just like the original this pedal is not true bypass. Instead, faithful to the original, this pedal contains a buffered bypass tone legendary in its own right. The Tumnus’ streamlined 3 control knobs (Volume, Gain, and Treble) allow you to quickly dial in your tones no matter what the gig calls for. V-3 features the same options as the V-2, so it’s basically the same product in the context of secondary options. However, we played around with the complex opto-system a lot. The main difference between V-3 and V-2 is in the modulation EQ. V-2 modulates just a slight part of the main tone (mid-range focused modulation), while V-3 blends in nicely with the main tone and modulates it without changing the EQ. V-3 has a wider modulation and brings more depth.
