Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive (SHOD) is a touch sensitive low gain overdrive pedal. It is designed to overdrive distorted amplifiers and give dynamically controlled light overdrive on clean sounds.

Distortion level can be controlled by pick attack and pickup strength. Harder picking for overdrive and softer for a cleaner tone. With the unique Focus control, you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal as well as overall EQ. Turning Focus CCW you need to play harder to get distortion and the tone is softer, great for jazz and blues. Focus turned CW gives a slight treble boost and earlier distortion great for classic rock.

The OCD pedal is the only pedal that uses 2 x Mosfets configured as hard-clipping to 'Voltage reference" instead of the usual way: to ground." The earliest OCDs used 2 x Mosfets plus 1 x Germanium diode, but very quickly these diodes became harder and harder to find, and they became expensive.

Recently I stumbled across a reasonably large stash of the right kind of Germanium diodes so I ponied-up and bought all of them. So I decided to do a run of the ultimate OCD: a Custom Shop offering with a few circuit tweaks using 2 x Mosfets plus 2 x Germanium diodes, and one hell of a beautiful paint job... Metallic Teal with a chrome undercoat! This beauty morphs between blues and greens depending on the light and angle. And what would the ultimate OCD be without a Blue LED? The sound? Great definition, more tube-like feel, a bit wider dynamic range, more sustain, and a more focused single-note tone. And as with all Fulltone pedals... 100% Built in the USA.

Launched in 1976, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was not only the world’s first chorus effect pedal, but also the very first BOSS pedal. Three years later, this inventive new sound was squeezed into the blue CE-2 Chorus, and chorus pedals have remained in the compact lineup ever since. Four decades on, the spacious modulated tone of the signature BOSS effect is still loved by musicians everywhere. In 2016, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BOSS innovation, the original analog chorus sounds are now reborn with the Waza Craft CE-2W. Und genau dieses Pedal bringt MXR nun in einer peniblen und fachkundigen Wiederauflage in Form des neuen ’74 Vintage Phase 90 heraus. Auf der per Hand verdrahteten Platine finden wir selektierte Widerstände genau wie aufeinander abgestimmte FET-Transistoren, um exakt den gleichen sanften und warmen Modulations-Sound wie beim Original zu erreichen. The MXR Phase 90 set the benchmark for phasers, with its thick and rich tone. Dunlop's in-house work horse, purchased in 1974, was meticulously specified and recreated as the '74 Vintage Phase 90. The hand-wired board features select resistors paired with handmatched FETs to achieve the same smooth and warm modulation as the original. The '74 Vintage Phase 90 comes housed in the classic orange finished box and is adorned with the unmistakable Script logo.

Teil der Magie dieses Hallgerätes war der Umstand, dass es in der Regel vorgeschaltet wurde was schnell dazu führte, dass das Hallsignal verzerrte und noch intensiver klang. Dieser Effekt ist heutzutage nicht so leicht zu reproduzieren, aber Catlinbread hat es mit einem zusätzlichen Preamp tatsächlich geschafft!

The outboard Fender 6G15 spring reverb unit is the sound of Surf guitar, Spaghetti Western and many other great guitar sounds from the sixties. Part of its magic, and how it differs from the internal spring reverb found in most Fender-style amps, is that it is run *in front* of the amp, causing the reverb signal to distort and sound more intense. Because there were additional knobs on the outboard units, you also have more control over the reverb qualities. The Dwell knob controlled how hard the springs were getting hit by the guitar signal. The Tone knob allowed the treble to be dialed back to just the right degree of brightness. It was also essentially a tube preamp, so it would color the sound going into the amp. All this added up to a very distinctive reverb sound with a lot of attitude and complex non-linearities that are hard to replicate. But we here at Catalinbread did just that! Besides giving you the classic three knob control compliment of the original, we’ve also added a great discrete preamp that you can control via the Volume knob for a healthy amount of great clean boost when you want it

The pedal is called Supreme because it simply excels in both tone and functionality. Supreme was born in collaboration with the world famous tone connoisseur Matt Schofield. Matt was looking after the best guitar overdrive tones possible and a specific functionality: two pedals in one, switching from one side to the other with just a single press on the switch.

The tones were set for a great all around boost to low gain drive on the A side used mostly on a neck pickup. The A side is heavily based on our famous Royal Blue Overdrive pedal. And for the B side a fat dynamic tone containing some ”power amp” response with a lot of headroom. The B side is a completely new design and is used mostly on a bridge pickup. This is the way Matt prefers to use the Supreme pedal.

The Snow White Autowah (SWAW) circuit is based on a 1991 BJF rack mount remote wah circuit and is tuned like a real wah. The circuit was redesigned with envelope controls and built into small size pedal. It has very fast tracking and accuracy rarely found on auto wahs/ envelope filters. With the four knobs, you can have total control of the effect. SWAW works both with guitar and bass and you can fine-tune the pedal to suit your instrument, your playing style and your taste of tone.
The pedal has a unique decay control for the filter frequency fall speed. You can set it to be fast for wah effects on every note, or slower for a more traditional auto wah sound.

The British Pedal Company Dumble Blackface pedal was inspired by the classic sounds of the Dumble Overdrive Special from the late 1980s and 1990s. The pedal has four controls for Gain, Dynamic, Tone and Volume and a Boost switch. To offer more headroom, the pedal can be operated with 9 volts as well as with 18 volts. Owners of the Dumble Blackface amp include Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford and John Mayer.

Same design as the original EHX Q-Tron but with extremely useful Effects Loop and an Attack Response Switch. The Effects Loop gives the musician the ability to place an additional effect, or chain of effects between the EHX Q-Tron Plus’s preamp and filter section without changing the envelope drive. This is particularly important with most distortion devices, as most all do not have much of an amplitude envelope. The FX loop will also fire up your creative juices to try all sorts of combinations in the effects loop: try the Micro POG into a Deluxe Memory Man. You can invent all sorts of novel effects. The added Response Switch selects between a slow, smooth, vowel-like attack and the fast, snaked response of the original Q-Tron.

The micro Vent 16 simulates the classic guitar leslie with a 10 inch speaker into a single drum rotor. Yes, we are talking about the vertically suspended magic of the Fender Vibratone. The algorithm simulates capturing the Vibratone with one mic and the distance from the cabinet is variable. Compared to the micro Vent 122, the micro Vent 16 sounds less complex and dominant. It is perfect for rhythm work and for giving lead tones the final touch.
