Neo Fuzz

FUZZ
Description
The MI Audio Neo Fuzz is a versatile germanium-based fuzz pedal designed around a pair of hand-selected New Old Stock AC128 transistors. While its architectural concept shares similarities with the silicon-based G.I. Fuzz, it is an original circuit design rather than a direct clone of vintage hardware. The pedal features a complex array of eight controls, including a dedicated midrange "Body" knob, a variable input impedance "Load" control, and a "Bias" adjustment for gating effects. A three-position "Tame" switch allows for high-end frequency sculpting to match various amplifier voicings. The circuit includes an internal gain trimmer to calibrate the overall intensity of the germanium saturation.Media
