There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. V-3 features the same options as the V-2, so it’s basically the same product in the context of secondary options. However, we played around with the complex opto-system a lot. The main difference between V-3 and V-2 is in the modulation EQ. V-2 modulates just a slight part of the main tone (mid-range focused modulation), while V-3 blends in nicely with the main tone and modulates it without changing the EQ. V-3 has a wider modulation and brings more depth.

The Ventris features a long list of mandatory control functions, and also introduces some bold new ones. The A+B toggle switch makes it super-easy to select between the pedal’s two signal processors or combine them into entirely unique dual reverb effects. Stereo Inputs and Outputs provide a mega-wide stereo spread for larger-than-life ambience. The OPTION Footswitch offers a variety of hands-free control options including preset scrolling, A to B processor toggling, reverb hold, runaway reverb, and tap tempo. The design and sound is the same as the original (as supplied to Eric Johnson, David Gilmour, etc) but with improved parts such as Switchcraft all metal jacks, click pots, etc.
Each unit is hand built to my specs and I personally check out each Tube Driver to perfection. Then I engrave my signature on the bottom of the case. This insures authenticity now and in the future!

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Distortion-Pedalen mit Boost verfügt das TightMetal Pro über 2 Boost-Regler, einen vor und einen nach der Verzerrung. So ist es einfach, Gain und Lautstärke für den perfekten Solo- Ton anzupassen. Es gibt auch einen Midboost-Schalter, der zusammen mit dem Ausgangs-Boost-Regler arbeitet, um Solos dabei zu helfen, den Mix zu durchschneiden. Um alle möglichen Metal Sounds zu beherrschen, wurde der Smooth Edge-Schalter entwickelt, der den High-End-Sizzle für einen wärmeren Sound cuttet. Die zwei 2 Fat-Schalter ermöglichen entweder den normalen oder Boosted-Tone einen für fetteres Attack und etwas mehr Kompression. Es gibt auch einen High-Gain-Schalter, um zwischen Vintage-Metal und heavier Modern Metal-Gain zu wählen. Der integrierte 3-Band-EQ ermöglicht ein breites tonales Spektrum und mit deinem Thrash-Schalter auch traditionellere gescoopte Mitten. Das Amptweaker Custom Noise-Gate mit der Hard-Stop-Chomp-Einstellung hilft dabei, den Rhythmus so tight wie möglich zu halten, besonders wenn es um schnelle Palm-Muting Riffs geht. Interne Regler ermöglichen das flexible anpassen des Gates. Amptweaker-Pedale sind für Effekt-Loops bekannt, und dieses hat gleich 3: einen Universal-Loop, einen der zusammen mit dem Boost aktiv ist und den beliebten SideTrak-Loop, der aktiviert wird, wenn das Pedal im Bypass ist  quasi wie eine eingebaute A / B-Box.

Unlike most distortion pedals with boost, the TightMetal Pro includes 2 Boost knobs, one before and one after the distortion.so it's easy to boost the gain AND volume, for the perfect solo tone. There's also a Midboost button that works with the output Boost knob, to help solos cut through the mix. To reign in those other metal tones the Smooth Edge switch was developed which cuts the high end sizzle for a warmer edge, and 2 Fat switches allow either the normal or Boosted tones to have a thicker attack with a bit more compression. There's also a High Gain switch to select between vintage sounding metal and heavier modern metal gain. The added three band EQ allows for much tonal variation, with its Thrash button for more traditional deeper scooped mids. The Amptweaker custom noise gate with the hard stopping Chomp setting to helps keeping the rhythm as tight as possible...especially when doing very quick riffs with a lot of palm-muted stops. Internal adjustments allow for tweaking the gate. Amptweaker pedals are known for effects loops, and this one has 3: a universal loop, another active with the boost, and our popular SideTrak loop which activates when the pedal is OFF ...it's like having a built-in A/B box.
