The original Focus Fuzz was designed to deliver all the flavour of vintage fuzz with none of the fuss. Limited to just 250 units because of its germanium transistor, this pedal sold out in a matter of days back in 2023. An all-silicon version followed, offering a darker, smoother take on this circuit, but we nevertheless received many requests to reissue the original. But we didn’t want to do that without expanding on it and, in the Deluxe version, we’ve added two new circuits that capitalise on the unique Focus control – an overdrive mode for lighter gain sounds and a textured, almost-clean boost that you may want to leave on all the time.
