Description

The Fulltone Distortion Pro DP-1 is a high-gain distortion pedal engineered to bridge the sonic gap between standard overdrive and saturated fuzz. Its circuit is a sophisticated, multi-stage design featuring op-amp architecture and soft-clipping LEDs, often described as a highly evolved and refined take on the ProCo RAT concept. The interface includes unique interactive controls such as "Saturation" for tube-like feel and "Voicing" for precise midrange frequency shifts. Unlike many traditional pedals, it features internal trimmers for gain and distortion to allow for deep user calibration of the compression and clipping levels. Developed independently by Mike Fuller, it aims to deliver 1970s and 80s "British" stack tones with modern clarity and touch sensitivity.
