The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. Den unglaublichen Sound, den EVH auf dieser Platte kreierte, gehört zu den absoluten Meilensteinen des Rock und ein wichtiger Bestandteil dieses Sounds war von vornherein der MXR Phase 90. Der Phase 90 trug maßgeblich zu den zeitlosen Gitarrensounds von “Eruption,“ “Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love,“ “On Fire,“ und “Atomic Punk“, sowie vieler anderer klassischer Van Halen Stücke bei. Entstanden aus einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen Eddie Van Halen und Jim Dunlop ist der EVH 90 eine komplett neu designte Version des legendären Phase 90. Der EVH 90 zeigt genau die gleichen räumlichen Klangverwirbelungen und hypnotischen Phasenverschiebungen, die den Phase 90 so berühmt machten. Als neues Feature besitzt der EVH 90 den Script-Schalter, der es ermöglicht, zwischen dem Vintage 'Script Logo' und dem moderneren, aggressiveren 'Block Logo' Phasersound zu wählen. Das Digitech Freqout Natural Feedback Creator Effektpedal gehört zu den eher exotischen Vertretern im Pedalboard. Es widmet sich der Erzeugung von Rückkopplungen, die zwar zum Repertoire jedes gepflegten (Rock-) Gitarristen gehören, aber üblicherweise nur mit entsprechender Lautstärke und der Interaktion zwischen Amp, Box und Gitarre möglich sind. Mit dem E-Bow, der seit Mitte der 70er Jahre erhältlich ist, gibt es bereits ein Werkzeug, das die Saiten per Magnetfeld beliebig lang in Schwingung versetzt, indem es über die gewünschte Saite gehalten wird. Oder den Sustainer von Fernandes, ein Pickup, der ebenfalls die Saiten zum Schwingen bringt, wenn er per Schalter dazu aufgefordert wird. Und natürlich muss beim Umbau der Gitarre einer der vorhandenen Tonabnehmer dem Sustainer weichen.

Its circuit is specifically based on the iconic 1970s Tycobrahe Octavia, offering both classic psychedelic tones and modern gated fuzz textures. The original Focus Fuzz was designed to deliver all the flavour of vintage fuzz with none of the fuss. An all-silicon version followed, offering a darker, smoother take on this circuit, but we nevertheless received many requests to reissue the original.

But we didn’t want to do that without expanding on it and, in the Deluxe version, we’ve added two new circuits that capitalise on the unique Focus control – an overdrive mode for lighter gain sounds and a textured, almost-clean boost that you may want to leave on all the time.

La Grotte is the new analog spring reverb by Anasounds. It may look like a mere evolution of the Element with the spring inside the main pedal, but in fact it offers a brand new sound and brand new features, designed in close collaboration with Jack White for his Third Man Hardware brand.

At its core, La Grotte is a mechanical reverb that includes a three-spring tank, but it also features a warm preamp with a distinct sonic personnalité, and a very powerful two-band EQ that only affects the reverberated sound. Independent volume settings for the dry and wet sounds allow you to find the perfect balance you’ve been searching for.

Der Broadcast AP-II ist ein gemeinsam mit dem Gitarristen Ariel Posen entwickeltes Dual-Preamplifier-Pedal. Er verfügt über zwei unabhängige, unterschiedlich abgestimmte Vorverstärker-Schaltungen, die jeweils ihre eigene, dezente Färbung hinzufügen. Die erste Schaltung ist mit einem Siliziumtransistor und einem Transformator ausgestattet und liefert den sanften, dunkleren Ton des ursprünglichen Broadcast-AP. Die zweite Schaltung verzichtet auf den Transformator und verwendet stattdessen einen Germaniumtransistor, was einen helleren, aggressiveren Klang ergibt. Eine umkehrbare Send/Return-Schleife zwischen den beiden Sektionen ermöglicht das Einschleifen weiterer Pedale oder das Platzieren jedes Preamps an unterschiedlichen Stellen der Effektkette.

The Broadcast AP-II is a dual preamplifier pedal designed in conjunction with guitarist Ariel Posen. It features two independent, differently-voiced preamplifier circuits which each add their own subtle colour. The first is fitted with a silicon transistor and transformer, bringing the smooth, darker tone of the original Broadcast-AP. The second removes the transformer and replaces the silicon with a germanium transistor, resulting in a brighter, more aggressive tone. A reversible send/return loop between the two sections lets you insert other pedals or place each preamp at different points in your signal chain.

V-3 features the same options as the V-2, so it’s basically the same product in the context of secondary options. However, we played around with the complex opto-system a lot. The main difference between V-3 and V-2 is in the modulation EQ. V-2 modulates just a slight part of the main tone (mid-range focused modulation), while V-3 blends in nicely with the main tone and modulates it without changing the EQ. V-3 has a wider modulation and brings more depth.
