Mit drei TRS-Through-Verbindungen lässt sich das MOD 3 V2 außerdem als zentraler Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen um zum Beispiel Effektpedale in den FX-Loop eines Verstärkers einzuschleifen.

The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 3 V2 is a pass-thru box designed for use by vocalists and acoustic players. When the Boost knob is in the first 25% you will get different flavors of the buffer/enhancer as well as slight volume increases. When the Boost knob is set between 25% and 50% you have a powerful, dynamic solo boost that adds definition, clarity and a little magic to your solos and lead passages. When set at 50% or more, the Prestige gives you the ability to break up your tube amp in a smooth and natural way resulting in real tube overdrive from the preamp section of your tube amp. CIOKS 4 Expander is the perfect companion to CIOKS DC7 in case you would like four additional outlets with four selectable voltages on each tap (9, 12, 15 and 18V DC) which can each deliver 660mA at 9V DC. Simply connect CIOKS 4 Expander to your CIOKS DC7 via the courtesy 24V outlet and you are good to go.

But that is definitely not all – what makes CIOKS 4 Expander truly unique is the fact that you can power it with anything from 9V to 24V DC or 9V to 12V AC via the non-polarized DC socket input. Furthermore CIOKS 4 can even be powered by connecting it to a USB powerbank via its 5V USB C input or by using a tablet or laptop power supply with a USB C plug. Are you playing with your cables more than your pedals? Terminal adds new routing possibilities to a more permanent setup. Its half-normalled configuration, which is also used in recording studio patch bays, allows an audio signal to pass “normally” and to be copied from the Green SND jack without interruption. However, the signal can also be cut off or replaced by patching into the RTN jack. It’s easy to insert effects and re-route instruments without pulling your rig apart.

This simple but very useful design was originally a custom project for musician Tycho, who is using Terminal in his studio and live rigs to quickly patch between sections of pedal and instrument chains. Community interest in the product led Boredbrain to produce Terminal in limited batches, and then due to its popularity, it has now become a mainstay.

The original version of the Ibanez Tube King (known as the TK999) was produced for a short time in Japan before production moved to the US. The US-made models bear the designation TK999US.
The Japan model featured a noise suppressor while the USA Model didn't. It's a great pedal and can run on 12AX7, 12AT7, or 12AY7 type tubes or the like. It also features a 3-band EQ to dial in some great tones.
