PHILter

PHILter
FILTER
Description
The Osiris PHILter is a boutique, handwired active state-variable biquad filter pedal, meticulously reverse-engineered from the original filters used in Phil Lesh’s iconic Alembic bass, known as "Osiris" or "Mission Control." This pedal offers four selectable filter modes—Low Pass, Band Pass, High Pass, and Notch—controlled via a 4-way rotary switch. Independent Direct Volume and PHILter Volume controls allow for seamless blending of dry and filtered signals. Additional controls include Frequency (ranging from 45Hz to 6kHz) and Q (bandwidth), providing precise tonal shaping. The PHILter is housed in a robust enclosure featuring a furniture-grade mahogany cap with inlaid Mother of Pearl and Abalone star, reflecting the aesthetic of the original Osiris bass. Handcrafted in the USA, it delivers the rich, expressive tones reminiscent of Phil Lesh's 1970s era.
