Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. Unser Testmodell, das FS22 Ekoverb-Pedal, ist mit einem Preis von 98 Euro im Portfolio der Marke schon eher in der Oberklasse angesiedelt. Der Zwitter aus Hall und Echo kann dafür auch mit drei unterschiedlichen Delay/Reverb-Algorithmen und insgesamt acht einstellbaren Parametern aufwarten. Darüber hinaus sind Tap-Tempo und eine Freeze-Funktion an Bord. Klingt schon mal nicht schlecht, aber ob es auch tatsächlich klingt, erfahrt ihr in diesem Test.

The Flamma Ekoverb features three combinations of delay and reverb effects that consist of a Reverse Delay/Swell Reverb setting, Analog Echo Delay/Mod Reverb, and a classic Analog Delay/Shimmer Reverb combination. The level and tone of the delay and reverb can be modified as well as the timing and feedback of the delay or the decay and pre-delay of the reverb. This lets you set the delay or reverb effect of each setting to maximum volume or completely off, allowing you to only use either the delay or reverb effect.

Our Clickless versions use a relay system that allows the loop switcher to have soft momentary style loop engagement. This means the foot switch will not click.  It will be a super soft push that will not make a loud acoustic clicking sound.  The handwired and pcb versions use a latching footswitch, it clicks acoustically but not electronically GUARANTEED!

Der EP-PRE ist ein JFET-Vorverstärker, der auf dem Vorverstärkerabschnitt der Echoplex® EP-3®-Bandechoeinheit basiert. Er liefert ein paar dB Verstärkung, aber ich betrachte das nicht als Verstärkung.

Wörter wie „Verbessern“, „Fettgeben“ und „Anreichern“ beschreiben alle die Wirkung, die der EP-PRE auf Ihren Ton hat, aber ich habe noch kein Wort gefunden, das die Magie dieser erstaunlichen kleinen Schaltung wirklich beschreibt. Ein Freund, der einen der Prototypen besitzt, nennt ihn einen „Klangpolierer“.

The EP-PRE is a JFET preamplifier that is based on the preamp section of the Echoplex® EP-3® tape echo unit. It will deliver a few db of boost, but I don't consider it as a boost.

Words such as Enhance, Fatten and Enrich all cover the effect that the EP-PRE has on your tone, but I have yet to find a word that really captures the magic of this amazing little circuit. A friend who has one of the prototypes calls it a “Tone Polisher”.
