OVERDRIVE
Description
The GT-1 is a classic overdrive effect, which has been modelled on the famous Ibanez Tube Screamer and is used to mimic the sound of an overdriven vintage Valve amplifier. The classic Tube Screamer sound includes a "mid hump", which means that the circuit accentuates the mid frequencies. Many guitarists prefer this sort of equalization as it helps to keep their sound from getting lost in the overall mix of the band. In addition to the volume(level), tone and drive controls of the original Tube Screamer the GT-1 has a fat switch to beef up the sound.Media
