Lion is the central point of the board.  It is the "amp", where the main tone, clean and dirty channels, and everything is connected to and from.  The Deco is the stereo split point.  Mono pedals come before it.  On the front of the signal chain, the receiver, guitar input on the Decimator, EP Booster, compressor,  phaser, and Super Sweet, are all connected the the noise gate circuit.  

Those all get connected to Decimator IN.  From Decimator OUT, the Carbon Copy Mini is first in the chain (so the repeats don't get chopped by the gate), and then it's off to the Deco, where the stereo split happens.  From the Deco's Left/Right outs, that goes to Lion Left/Right IN, and then it's off to the HX One, Starlight Echo, and Collider, all in stereo, and then out to a stereo DI, a mixing console, or audio interface.  

The Strymon switch accesses my favorite preset, which is the Super Wide mode with some saturation on the Deco (Super Wide mode is AMAZING!!!).

The Source Audio switch is actually the tap tempo, as the onboard tap tempo on Collider is not great.  A long press on the delay/tap tempo switch will allow you to scroll through the onboard presets, and the scroll speed is just right, not too fast, not too slow, so it works out well.

Underneath the board is a Walrus Audio Canvas 15, and a JHS active splitter/buffer, which I'm currently using as just an active buffer, as well as a Temple Audio LED strip light, which is just for fun but looks.  

It's a silent, stereo board that gives me all of my meat and potatoes that I enjoy, plus a lot of really cool delay types, reverbs that I'm able to FREEZE to create pads (very cool!) via the Collider, and HX One is AFTER the amp, very intentionally, to predominantly be a stereo VOLUME boost, but in addition has some great sounding modulation, time based, and other effects that I can access.  

I have it set up as a two channel amp, with a clean and a gain channel, but with two additional gain stages via the Super Sweet, and the Lion's onboard boost (EP Booster is always on, because I like what it does to the tone.  Compressor is always on as well. The Empress is the GUITAR version, not the bass version.) This is already built in real life, but seeing how the layout on a Rockboard would be, and I think it fits slightly better on the Rockboard than on the Pedaltrain.

Sync your modulation rate on-the-fly with the Source Audio Toolbox External Tap Tempo Switch. The Tap Tempo Switch is compatible with all Source Audio One Series modulation pedals. Use it to tap out the LFO speed of the Vertigo Tremolo, Lunar Phaser, Gemini Chorus, and Mercury Flanger. The Speed knob on each pedal sets the beat division to quarter, eighth, triplets, or 16th notes. 
South of 9 o’clock on the SPEED knob of Source Audio One Series Pedals will give you quarter note beat divisions, 9 to 12 o’clock gives you eighth notes, 12 to 3 gives you triplets, and 3 to 5 gives you 16th notes. 
The Tap Tempo Switch will also set the Delay Time or externally recall presets on the One Series Nemesis Delay. In addition, the Switch has a standard 1/4" output for use with compatible third-party products (normally open [NO], single pull/single throw (SPST)).

Der Phase 90 trug maßgeblich zu den zeitlosen Gitarrensounds von “Eruption,“ “Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love,“ “On Fire,“ und “Atomic Punk“, sowie vieler anderer klassischer Van Halen Stücke bei. Entstanden aus einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen Eddie Van Halen und Jim Dunlop ist der EVH 90 eine komplett neu designte Version des legendären Phase 90. Der EVH 90 zeigt genau die gleichen räumlichen Klangverwirbelungen und hypnotischen Phasenverschiebungen, die den Phase 90 so berühmt machten. When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Although our original Compressor sounded great on bass (and still does!) we set out to do even better. 
On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a fully variable sidechain high pass filter, and a two position ‘tone + colour’ circuit which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.

Little Brute Drive (LBD)

There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. It’s big, it’s expensive, and it has certainly earned its place at the table. Wampler has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced that magical tone in all its glory in an unbelievably small package, and its name is Tumnus. Tumnus is a versatile addition to any setup, any style. Stack it with another pedal to help push or shape the total amount of gain, use it as a stand alone overdrive, or use it as a slightly dirty boost to push the front end of your amp over the edge. You can even use it as a buffer, because just like the original this pedal is not true bypass. Instead, faithful to the original, this pedal contains a buffered bypass tone legendary in its own right. The Tumnus’ streamlined 3 control knobs (Volume, Gain, and Treble) allow you to quickly dial in your tones no matter what the gig calls for. We aren’t going to sit here and claim it has magical parts, or we sourced out 60 year old diodes that make it perfect, but we are going to say that during our research we looked at everything available and then only used the parts that Brian chose to replicate that amazing tone. Let’s face it, not everyone has room for a four-legged beast on their board. This smaller version slips in and out of a myriad of tight situations. Now you can have the tone. Ein Regler, viele Möglichkeiten. Das Acapulco Gold ist eine „Ein-Knopf-Power-Amp-Distortion-Box“, welche die Endstufen-Verzerrungen eines Vintage Sunn Model T Verstärkers emuliert. Das Acapulco Gold interagiert perfekt mit Volume- und Tone-Potis der Gitarre und klart beim Zurückdrehen etwas auf. Wer seinen Röhren-Amp zusätzlich zum „Sunn-Model-T-Kick“ auch boosten möchte, liegt beim Acapulco Gold genau richtig. In erster Linie erzeugt das Pedal jedoch heftige Distortions bis hin fast zum Fuzz und kann mächtig viel Pegel erzeugen! Das Pedal reagiert sehr dynamisch auf die Spielweise. Das Acapulco Gold verfügt über True Bypass und wird in Handarbeit in Akron, Ohio un den USA hergestellt.  

Das Acapulco Gold V2 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. Audiosignale haben keinen Durchgang, wenn das Gerät nicht mit Strom versorgt wird.

One knob, many possibilities. The Acapulco Gold is a “one knob power amp distortion box” based on the vibe of a cranked Sunn Model T. The Acapulco Gold interacts perfectly with the Volume and Tone controls of the guitar cleaning as they are rolled down. For those who would like to give their tube amps a “Sunn Model T” kick, the Acapulco Gold is the perfect choice. However, the pedal can produce aggressive distortion sounds in the verge of Fuzz. It responds very dynamically to the playing style. The Acapulco Gold features True Bypass and it’s hand built in Akron, Ohio in the USA. 

The Acapulco Gold V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.

The AUX output combines tuner and expression functionality into one jack that can be toggled with a switch inside the pedal. If you want to reverse the function of the heel-down and toe-down positions, the DVP4 has another internal switch that allows you to do so.

Der amerikanische Effektpedal-Hersteller Xotic ist bekannt für seine gut klingenden Overdrive-Pedale. Auf der NAMM 2019 in Anaheim zeigte er zwei interessante Neuheiten, die das Portfolio zukünftig ergänzen werden: den Xotic Super Sweet Booster und den Xotic Super Clean Buffer.

The Xotic Super Clean buffer landed on my board in an attempt to fight a major tone loss issue caused by my GigRig QuarterMaster loop switcher (check out my QuarterMaster review to learn more). Since I discovered that tone issue with the switcher, I started looking for possible simple cures that can bring sanity back to my board. I was really trying to avoid getting into replacing my QuarterMaster, simply because I had a really tough year, full of gear issues, technicians and technical support and I just got tired of it. I ended up getting an Xotic Super Clean and I'm very happy with it so far. My clean tone has never been so good through any pedal board before, with or without the switcher.
