The BASTARD is a dynamic medium to high gain distortion. Because of its complex circuit (several amplifier stages and an active 3-band equalizer) it’s possible to create modern distortion sounds.
The BASTARD is very useful in modern styles of music because of its dynamic response and transparency on the one hand and the powerful and aggressive sound with lots of punch and low end on the other hand. There are also tons of gain available.
The active 3-band equalizer is a very powerful tool and it’s possible to get a wide range of totaly different sounds. Furthermore it’s even possible to create mid scooped sounds which are used in modern styles of music.Media
