This Special Version of the KCM-OD lavishly uses luxury audio-grade parts and has been tuned.

It is equipped with a charge pump IC 27V booster circuit. It has extremely low noise as a result of the creative methods applied, such as careful selection of the parts to be used, placement of the circuit pattern with heavy consideration of noise reduction, and star ground wiring (single point grounding).

In addition, the FAT knob, which newly allows for stepless adjustment for the first time with this V9.0, can push out a bit of the sound from the low side and increase the harmonic components at the same time. It produces the original constant when it is set at the Normal position.

At the heart of the overdrive path is a soft‑clipped BiFET gain stage with a passive Tone control, rounded out by a Curve function that fine‑tunes corner frequencies. The Volume control regulates the masses of “pork power” that emanate from its circuitry, while the Clean control blends in warm, glistening clean tones. Michelangelo combines the Dynamism of valve sound with the definition of a pedal effect.

The heart of Michelangelo is made entirely of JFET transistors, which characterize a dynamic and warm sound recreating the effect produced by a Tube (Valve) head.

Thanks to the three position switch it is possible to select three distortion modes with silicon, germanium and JFET semiconductors.

The possibility to choose the type of distortion makes Michelangelo extremely flexible, with distortions that offer the whole range from a boost, to light crunch, to overdrive up to a very defined distortion typical of the one produced by a valve head.

Another great feature of Michelangelo is the presence of a preamplifier and an output boost, both separately controllable and activated through a dedicated “BOOST” footswitch.

The Angry Troll is a boost capable of pumping up to +50dB of gain into your signal – WHAT? That’s a TON on tap, and if you really need that much, maybe you should take a look at your setup. However, this red bastard doesn’t just boost – a second control knob, Anger, is a rotary switch with six different Fists of Fury positions, which adjust the amount of gain created by the pedal’s op-amp. Interacting with the Volume control, you get a vintage mic pre amp type of sound, with a little dirt foe extra good measure.

The Jumbo Fuzz Swollen Pickle XXX is a high gain fuzz pedal designed to deliver aggressive and heavily saturated distortion tones.
