The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Now, based on our users’ valuable feedback, we’ve taken everything great about our original Compressor and made it even better. 

On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a ‘tilt’ tone eq control, and a selectable sidechain high pass filter built into the Compressor’s detection circuit. Oh, and the whole package is now half the size and available in two snazzy colours!

Wir alle wissen, dass jeder Tonjäger manchmal extremen Gain und manchmal milden Overdrive braucht... manchmal braucht er etwas, das beides kann und alles dazwischen. Das Pinnacle kann nicht nur beides, sondern liefert auch den überzeugendsten „Brown Sound“, den man je in einem Pedal gehört hat!

Mit zwei verschiedenen Gain-Strukturen, einem leistungsstarken Mittenregler (von Scooped bis Mid Hump) und einem Regler, der jedes Quäntchen Ton aus deiner Gitarre herausholt, wirst du merken, dass das Pinnacle nicht umsonst so heißt.

Obwohl es extrem vielseitig ist, ist das Pinnacle dafür bekannt, den „Brown Sound“ zu erzeugen, den Ton und die Art der Verzerrung, die durch Eddie Van Halen berühmt wurde. Zeke Clark (Van Halens langjähriger renommierter Gitarrentechniker) hat einen Pinnacle durchgespielt und Folgendes zu sagen: „Ich habe tonnenweise Pedale gespielt, die diesen „Brown Sound“ versprechen... dieses Pedal macht es besser als alles, was ich je gehört oder gespielt habe.“

We all know that the distinguished tone chaser sometimes needs extreme gain, sometimes needs mild overdrive… sometimes needs something that does both of the above and everything in between. The Pinnacle not only does that, but it also brings the most convincing “Brown Sound” to be ever heard in a pedal!

With two separate styles of gain structure, a powerful mid contour (from scooped to mid hump) control and a control that squeezes out every ounce of tone from your guitar, you’ll notice that the Pinnacle is called that for a very good reason.

Although extremely versatile the Pinnacle is well known for giving the “Brown Sound”, the tone and style of distortion made famous by Eddie Van Halen. Zeke Clark (Van Halen’s longtime renowned guitar tech) played through a pinnacle and this is what he had to say: “I’ve played tons of pedals that promised that “Brown Sound”… this pedal NAILS it better than anything I’ve ever heard or played.”

Der Mofetta, eine Hauptstütze unzähliger Top-Session-Spieler, ehrt die Seele dieses schwer fassbaren und doch klassischen Schaltkreises, während er sein ungenutztes Potenzial offenbart.

Stell dir den Mofetta als einen aufgeladenen MOSTORTIONtm vor, wiedergeboren und verstärkt. Ich habe dafür gesorgt, dass er den klassischen, verstärkerähnlichen Overdrive, massiven Headroom und den vielseitigen 3-Band-EQ bietet, der das Original so berühmt gemacht hat. Aber ich wollte noch mehr und habe einen Texture-Schalter hinzugefügt, der echte MOSFETs in die Overdrive-Sektion des Pedals einfügt und so einen fetteren, artikulierteren Ton erzeugt.
