The original Ibanez® Tube Screamer® is one of the most emulated circuit designs of all time and has been pushing amplifiers since it was first released in the late 1970s. While many companies create 808/TS9 style pedals, the TS10® was always a favorite of Brian’s. Capable of anything from light boost to a gritty drive that can send an amplifier into heavily overdriven tones, the Moxie is an ultra-flexible, wonderfully warm and rich pedal but with an extra bite.

Beim DSM & Humboldt Simplifier DLX handelt es sich um eine extrem erweiterte Version des kleinen Simplifiers, der hier bereits Gegenstand eines Tests war. Eine der Besonderheiten an den Geräten der Simplifier-Reihe, die auch gerne Zero Watt Amplifier genannt werden, ist die Zielgruppe, die der chilenische Hersteller ins Auge gefasst hat. Es sind Gitarristen, die mit kleinem Gepäck zum Gig kommen, auf analoge Signalwege setzen und für die deshalb digitale Modeler bzw. Cabinet-Simulationen keine Option sind.

Pedalboard amps seem to be all the rage lately. And I have to admit that I've become increasingly more amicable to getting big tones with less gear. The DSM & Humboldt Simplifier DLX, which delivers a lot of big tones in a single suited-for-pedalboard sized stomp, is the latest iteration of the company's "zero-watt" amp series and features plenty of bells and whistles for the stereo set.

Zu den Bedienelementen des Pico POG gehören dedizierte Lautstärkeregler für die Stimmen „SUB OCTAVE“, „OCTAVE UP“ und „DRY“. Diese drei Regler fungieren als Mixer für unendlich viele mögliche Stimmenmischungen. Der TONE-Regler verfügt über drei Modi, die über die FILTER-Taste gesteuert werden. Im Tonmodus fungiert der Regler als Tilt-EQ mit flachem Frequenzgang in der Mitte, mehr Höhen und weniger Bässen beim Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn und weniger Höhen und mehr Bässen beim Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. In diesem Modus wird der EQ auf alle drei Stimmen angewendet. Im Tiefpassfiltermodus schneidet der Regler die Höhen in den Sub- und Octave-Up-Stimmen ab, während der Hochpassfiltermodus die Tiefen in den Sub- und Octave-Up-Stimmen abschneidet.

The 3 mode Tone control lets you tailor your sound to fit into any pocket no matter how massive or small.

Controls on the Pico POG include dedicated volumes knobs for the SUB OCTAVE, OCTAVE UP, and DRY voices. These three controls act as a mixer for infinite possible voice mixes. The TONE knob features three modes controlled by the FILTER button. In Tone Mode, the knob acts as a tilt-EQ with a flat frequency response in the center, more treble and less bass as you turn the knob clockwise, and less treble and more bass as you turn the knob counterclockwise. In this mode, the EQ is applied to all 3 voices. In Low Pass Filter mode, the knob cuts highs in the Sub and Octave Up voices, while High Pass Filter mode cuts lows in the Sub and Octave Up Voices.

MINI KATANA CLEAN BOOST!  Keeley’s oldest design made smaller and with an additional feature.  The Katana started back in 2002 within the Time Machine Boost.  It was a dual class A JFET design that gave players and incredible boost and sounded so good they never turned off.  In fact they often ran two or three on stages like John Mayer!  The Mini Katana boost provides over 35dB of boost.  Enough for the most demanding players and sound reinforcement.The new Mini Katana is now a 4 Mode Booster!  With the dual micro switches you have a total of four sounds possible.  Need drive, just flip the micro Hi-Gain Switch inside and you’ve got overdriven tone!  Flip the Hi-Cut Switch (NEW for the Katana Mini!) on the inside and you have a warmer tone to soften any Strat or Tele.  Flip both switches and you have the ultimate sounding boost, thick, creamy, tube-amp sounding, and plenty of volume on tap!

The RockBoard ISO Power Block V6 is a multi-power supply for effects pedals with 5 isolated transformers and highly filtered 9V DC power slots and a single 18V DC link output to connect multiple ISO Power Blocks V6 in series for larger setups. The advanced filtering technology used in the 9V DC power slots prevents high-frequency noise. Built with individual slot short circuit protection, connected effects pedals are protected in case of a short circuit. With a designated LED for each power slot indicating the slot is working correctly, you can quickly identify any problems without losing power to the rest of your rig.

MXR knows phasers. The Phase 90's compact size, superior construction, and refined sound put MXR on the map, and it set the standard by which all other phasers are judged. Two years later, MXR released the Phase 45—a mellower version of the effect favored for its ability to easily blend into a band's mix. Now, you can get both iconic circuits in a single pedal while tightening up your pedalboard at the same time. The Phase 95 combines the Phase 45 and Phase 90 circuits in a mini housing with about half the footprint of a standard MXR pedal. The 45/90 switch toggles between the Phase 45 mode's subtle two-stage phasing and the Phase 90 mode's more pronounced four-stage phasing, while the Script switch toggles between two phasing styles. The Phase 95 is set to modern style phasing by default, which relies on feedback to create light harmonic distortion and gives the effect a more accentuated swoosh. Engaging the Script switch removes feedback for a lusher, more subdued sound with higher headroom and greater clarity. The familiar Speed control sets the rate of the effect. The Phase 95 may be small, but it's full of rich phase tones, and it'll take a beating on the road.
