The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. Das EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3 bietet Distortion, Boost und einen regelbaren Octave-Up Effekt in einem kompakten Effektpedal. Die 'Amplitude' Sektion des Pedals basiert auf dem klassischen 'White Face' Distortion Pedal, die Schaltung wurde jedoch um drei wählbare Clipping-Modi erweitert. Die erste Position (No Diode OpAmp Drive) bietet einen satten Drive bei maximalem Volume. Die zweite Position nutzt zwei Silizium-Dioden und eine LED in einer asymmetrischen Clipping-Konfiguration und erzeugt einen leicht komprimierten, smoothen Crunch, der an einen übersteuerten Verstärker erinnert. Die dritte Position nutzt zwei Silizium-Dioden und erzeugt den klassischen 'White Face' Sound. Die Octave-Up Sektion arbeitet komplett analog und lässt sich über einen Regler oder ein optionales Expression Pedal stufenlos mit der Verzerrung mischen. Der monophone Effekt arbeitet am 'saubersten' mit einzelnen Noten oberhalb des 12. Bundes, die über den Neck Pickup gespielt werden. Akkorde erzeugen einen chaotischen, 'scheppernden' Sound. Dreht man den Octave-Regler voll auf erzeugt das Sunn O))) Life Pedal V2 einen dreckigen, wütenden Fuzz-Sound, der an das Super Fuzz erinnert. Die 'Magnitude' Sektion ist ein MOSFET Booster, der Röhrenverstärker in die Sättigung treibt. Der Booster arbeitet komplett clean und fügt dem Signal selbst keine Verzerrung hinzu, bietet dafür aber ein extrem hohes Output Level um das Front End des Amps zu pushen. Der Signalweg geht Octave > Distortion > Boost, dabei lassen sich beide Sektionen unabhängig voneinander nutzen.

The EarthQuaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3 offers distortion, boost and an adjustable octave-up effect in a compact effects pedal. The 'Amplitude' section of the pedal is based on the classic 'White Face' distortion pedal, but the circuitry has been expanded to include three selectable clipping modes. The first position (No Diode OpAmp Drive) offers a rich drive at maximum volume. The second position uses two silicon diodes and a LED in an asymmetrical clipping configuration and produces a slightly compressed, smooth crunch reminiscent of an overdriven amp. The third position uses two silicon diodes and produces the classic 'white face' sound. The Octave-Up section is completely analogue and can be mixed with the distortion via a knob or an optional expression pedal. The monophonic effect works 'cleanest' with single notes above the 12th fret played through the neck pickup. Chords produce a chaotic, 'clanging' sound. Turning the Octave control all the way up, the Sunn O))) Life Pedal V2 produces a dirty, angry fuzz sound reminiscent of the Super Fuzz. The 'Magnitude' section is a MOSFET booster that drives tube amps into saturation. The booster works completely clean and adds no distortion to the signal itself, but offers an extremely high output level to push the front end of the amp. The signal path goes Octave > Distortion > Boost, and both sections can be used independently of each other.

Das Pitchfork von EHX ist neben dem Whammy und dem TC Electronic Sub ‚N‘ up das wahrscheinlich beliebteste Pitch-Pedal, das es auf den Pedal-Boards der Welt gibt. Von einem Bekannten, der sich ausgiebig mit dem Löten von Pedalen beschäftigt, habe ich mir sagen lassen, dass der Bau eines wirklich sauber arbeitenden und verlässlich trackenden Pitch-Pedals alles andere als leicht ist. Und das kann man sich gut vorstellen: Viele Pitch-Pedale tracken irgendwie seltsam, klingen entweder im Clean- oder Gain-Bereich jeweils zu matschig und undifferenziert oder können mit bestimmten Frequenzbereichen nicht gut arbeiten. Selbst das von mir hochgeschätzte Red Panda Tensor hat viele Stärken – die Klarheit des Pitch-Effekts ist es nicht.

Der Wampler Mofetta Overdrive/Distortion ist meine Hommage an die MOSFET-gesteuerte Magie eines Klassikers der 1990er Jahre - des MT10 MOSTORTIONtm. Der Mofetta, eine Hauptstütze unzähliger Top-Session-Spieler, ehrt die Seele dieses schwer fassbaren und doch klassischen Schaltkreises, während er sein ungenutztes Potenzial offenbart.

Stell dir den Mofetta als einen aufgeladenen MOSTORTIONtm vor, wiedergeboren und verstärkt. Ich habe dafür gesorgt, dass er den klassischen, verstärkerähnlichen Overdrive, massiven Headroom und den vielseitigen 3-Band-EQ bietet, der das Original so berühmt gemacht hat. Aber ich wollte noch mehr und habe einen Texture-Schalter hinzugefügt, der echte MOSFETs in die Overdrive-Sektion des Pedals einfügt und so einen fetteren, artikulierteren Ton erzeugt. Das Mofetta bewahrt alles, was du an der Legende aus den frühen 90ern liebst, mit einer kraftvollen neuen Dimension.

The Wampler Mofetta Overdrive/Distortion is my tribute to the MOSFET-driven magic of a 1990s classic — the MT10 MOSTORTIONtm. A mainstay of countless top session players, the Mofetta honors the soul of that elusive yet classic circuit while revealing its untapped potential.

Think of the Mofetta as a supercharged MOSTORTIONtm, reborn and amplified. I made sure that it delivered the classic, amp-like overdrive, massive headroom, and versatile 3-band EQ that made the original so famous. But I also wanted more and added a Texture Switch that introduces actual MOSFETs into the pedal's overdrive section for a bolder, more articulate tone. The Mofetta preserves everything you love about the early '90s legend with a powerful new dimension.
