Mit drei TRS-Through-Verbindungen lässt sich das MOD 3 V2 außerdem als zentraler Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen um zum Beispiel Effektpedale in den FX-Loop eines Verstärkers einzuschleifen.

The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Boss might not be the first name to spring to mind if you were seeking a really esoteric reverb, but the new Boss RV‑500 not only bears comparison with its aforementioned rivals in terms of sound quality and effect variety, but it also offers a number of useful functions that most of its rivals can’t.

Das Boss DD-500, ein High End Delay des japanischen Effektgeräte-Herstellers, kann mit 12 Delay-Programmen, 32 Bit/96 kHz Signalverarbeitung, bis zu 297 Speicherplätzen und einem Looper aufwarten und ist mit dieser Ausstattung naturgemäß in einer etwas höheren Preisklasse angesiedelt. Allein diese Eckdaten sind einigermaßen imposant, aber die Marke Boss und der Mutterkonzern Roland haben bereits in der Vergangenheit – zum Beispiel mit dem DD-20, dem Space Echo oder dem Tera Echo – bewiesen, dass man durchaus auch in unterschiedlichen Preiskategorien in der Lage ist, uns Gitarristen mit amtlichen Delay-Sounds zu versorgen.

The Boss DD-500 is one of the few Boss pedals which are, because of their size, less pedalboard friendly. Therefor, it offers up to 10 seconds maximum delay time, tap tempo and tape emulation.
Other features of the stereo pedal that allows to choose a true bypass or a buffered processing, are modulation, expression pedal and midi input.
Furthermore, you can lead different delays (modulation models) on several channels and run the pedal serial as well as parallel.
All things considered, the 9V pedal with integrated looper provides an extremely extensive menu including tone shaping options.
Nevertheless, the Boss DD-500 which is still produced today is not really legendary and its sound is quite sterile. This is why this digital delay is a 3 of 10 on my cult factor scale.

As these cannot be displayed in this tool (but often used to double the loops on big boards) we configured in this tool 3 stereo connections as 6x mono loops.

Der Avalanche Run ist ein verträumtes Sonic Discovery-Device mit bis zu 2 Sekunden Delay-Zeit und einem üppigen Stereo-Reverb. Es bietet vollständige Kontrolle über die Verzögerungszeit, Wiederholungen, Mix und Voice (mit dem Tone Regler), sowie Kontrolle über die Hallfahnen-Länge und Reverb Mix. Es kann in einem von 3 verschiedenen Modi betrieben werden: Normal, Reverse und Swell. Im "Normal" -Modus fungiert der Avalanche-Run als direktes Delay und Reverb. Im "Reverse" -Modus ist die Delay Spur umgekehrt und der Reverb bleibt im normalen Modus. Im "Swell" -Modus reagiert der Avalanche Run auf deine Picking-Dynamik und fügt dem gesamten Signalweg einen Volume Swell hinzu, ähnlich wie beim manuellen Auf- und Zudrehen des Volume Reglers deiner Gitarre. Ausgestattet mit einer Kombination aus True Bypass und Buffered Bypass mit Trails-Funktion wird auch das Avalanche Run in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt. The Avalanche Run is a dreamy sonic discovery device with up to 2 seconds of delay time and a lush stereo reverb. It features complete control over delay time, repeats, mixand voice (with the tone control), as well as control over the reverb length and mix. It can run in one of 3 different modes: Normal, Reverse and Swell. In “Normal”mode, the Avalanche Run functions as a straightforward delay and reverb. In “Reverse”mode, the delay line is in reverse and the reverb remains in normal mode. This little box of magic takes your input signal and splits it into two always-on outputs that are buffered so you don’t lose clarity or tone in any way. Plug your guitar in and use one output to send your clean signal somewhere like a tuner, mixer, separate amp, etc... and send the other output through your board like normal.

The LPD IMP is a variable input impedance buffer with a signal drive monitor.
Let’s unpack that.

The IMP is a buffer. Buffers help to ensure signal quality through cables longer than 15 feet, multiple true bypass pedals, or if you have a large pedal board.
Variable input impedance allows you to match the input impedance of the IMP to the pickups in the instrument you are using. Think of it as a kind of dynamic tone control based on pickup response.

The DRV indicator gives a visual representation of the output signal strength.
