The MXR M306 Poly Blue Octave Pedal is a colossal box of tone. There's a staggering array of effects to explore in a single pedal that'll keep you experimenting all night. With no less than four separate octave divisions available you can send your tone plummeting down the registers for some unctuous bass or soar up through the pitches to reach dizzying high notes. Combine all those octaves together or separately and mix in the fuzz, mono, dry/wet and expression pedal options and you have an almost unlimited palette of sonic creation. Whatever sound is in your head, you can bring it to life it on the MXR Poly Blue.

It simply can't be overstated just how versatile and varied this delightful stomp box is. Offering dual-mode modulation, your effects are boosted with phaser like momentum, be that a thick, undulating slow swirls or a frenzied, frantic dash. Set into the polyphonic mode you have access to textures resembling the famous rotary Leslie effect, while the monophonic switch evokes the swooshes and dips of MXR's celebrated Phase 90 pedal. And for those times you don't want to draw on the considerable power of the M306, it's default off bypass mode will ensure your signal is unaffected no matter where you place this on your pedalboard.

Das originale Focus Fuzz wurde entwickelt, um den vollen Geschmack von Vintage-Fuzz ohne viel Schnickschnack zu liefern. Aufgrund seines Germaniumtransistors auf nur 250 Stück limitiert, war dieses Pedal bereits 2023 innerhalb weniger Tage ausverkauft. Es folgte eine Vollsiliziumversion mit einer dunkleren, sanfteren Version dieser Schaltung. Dennoch erhielten wir zahlreiche Anfragen, das Original neu aufzulegen.

Doch wir wollten nicht darauf verzichten, es zu erweitern und haben der Deluxe-Version zwei neue Schaltungen hinzugefügt, die die einzigartige Focus-Steuerung optimal nutzen – einen Overdrive-Modus für leichtere Gain-Sounds und einen strukturierten, nahezu sauberen Boost, den Sie am liebsten dauerhaft eingeschaltet lassen möchten.

The original Focus Fuzz was designed to deliver all the flavour of vintage fuzz with none of the fuss. Limited to just 250 units because of its germanium transistor, this pedal sold out in a matter of days back in 2023. An all-silicon version followed, offering a darker, smoother take on this circuit, but we nevertheless received many requests to reissue the original.

But we didn’t want to do that without expanding on it and, in the Deluxe version, we’ve added two new circuits that capitalise on the unique Focus control – an overdrive mode for lighter gain sounds and a textured, almost-clean boost that you may want to leave on all the time.

The most crucial ingredient when it comes to a Germanium Fuzz pedal’s quality, sound and “clean- ability”, is transistor choice. In our experience there’s nothing quite like the CV7003, military-spec OC44 germanium transistors.
Each individual transistor is measured for gain and leakage and then hand picked and matched through sound audition.

La Grotte is the new analog spring reverb by Anasounds. It may look like a mere evolution of the Element with the spring inside the main pedal, but in fact it offers a brand new sound and brand new features, designed in close collaboration with Jack White for his Third Man Hardware brand.

At its core, La Grotte is a mechanical reverb that includes a three-spring tank, but it also features a warm preamp with a distinct sonic personnalité, and a very powerful two-band EQ that only affects the reverberated sound. Independent volume settings for the dry and wet sounds allow you to find the perfect balance you’ve been searching for.

Often imitated but never duplicated, the elusive vintage "script" Phase 90 is at the top of the list for pedal collector's world-wide. The original version—available from the company's inception to the late '70s—practically defined the classic phase shifter sound, and was heard on everything from hard rock, jazz-fusion, to funk hits. Der Broadcast AP-II ist ein gemeinsam mit dem Gitarristen Ariel Posen entwickeltes Dual-Preamplifier-Pedal. Er verfügt über zwei unabhängige, unterschiedlich abgestimmte Vorverstärker-Schaltungen, die jeweils ihre eigene, dezente Färbung hinzufügen. Die erste Schaltung ist mit einem Siliziumtransistor und einem Transformator ausgestattet und liefert den sanften, dunkleren Ton des ursprünglichen Broadcast-AP. Die zweite Schaltung verzichtet auf den Transformator und verwendet stattdessen einen Germaniumtransistor, was einen helleren, aggressiveren Klang ergibt. Eine umkehrbare Send/Return-Schleife zwischen den beiden Sektionen ermöglicht das Einschleifen weiterer Pedale oder das Platzieren jedes Preamps an unterschiedlichen Stellen der Effektkette.

The Broadcast AP-II is a dual preamplifier pedal designed in conjunction with guitarist Ariel Posen. It features two independent, differently-voiced preamplifier circuits which each add their own subtle colour. The first is fitted with a silicon transistor and transformer, bringing the smooth, darker tone of the original Broadcast-AP. The second removes the transformer and replaces the silicon with a germanium transistor, resulting in a brighter, more aggressive tone. A reversible send/return loop between the two sections lets you insert other pedals or place each preamp at different points in your signal chain.

V-3 features the same options as the V-2, so it’s basically the same product in the context of secondary options. However, we played around with the complex opto-system a lot. The main difference between V-3 and V-2 is in the modulation EQ. V-2 modulates just a slight part of the main tone (mid-range focused modulation), while V-3 blends in nicely with the main tone and modulates it without changing the EQ. V-3 has a wider modulation and brings more depth.

The Val Martins Amplification Tekila is a handmade, all-analog fuzz/distortion pedal. It is built in France using high-quality, hand-selected components with point-to-point wiring and no printed circuits. The pedal is described as having a "very Woodstock, very thick and hoarse" sound, inspired by the mythical rock and blues tones of the 1970s. It features a true-bypass design and has a simple two-knob control layout for Level and Gain. Each unit is hand-decorated, making it a unique piece.

Der Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man aus den 1990er Jahren ist ein echtes Schwergewicht im Bereich der schaltkreisbasierten analogen Verzögerungsgeräte und immer noch ein begehrtes Stück Vintage-Equipment. Typischerweise ist diese Version (Debüt 1996) des Deluxe Memory Man als "Big Box"-Version bekannt. Sie hat einen höheren Sammlerwert als spätere Versionen.

An original heavyweight in the realm of bucket brigade circuit-based analog delay, the Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man of the 1990s still stands as a highly coveted piece of vintage gear. Typically this version (debuting in 1996) of the Deluxe Memory Man is known as the "big box" version. It is more collectible than later versions.
