Das Vahlbruch KALUNA ist ein von Grund auf neu entwickeltes Overdrive/Distortion-Pedal, in dessen 100% analoger Schaltung eine mit 250 Volt betriebene ECC83/12AX7 Doppeltrioden-Röhre das Herzstück bildet. Die für diese Art Röhrenschaltung erforderliche Hochspannung wird im Inneren des Pedals eigenständig aus der Standard-9V-Stromversorgung erzeugt und ist für den "richtigen" Oberton-Gehalt, die gewisse Overdrive-Transparenz, das perkussive Attack-Verhalten und die typisch-komplexe Kompression verantwortlich, die wir alle auch von übersteuerten Röhrenverstärkern her kennen und lieben.tra

The Vahlbruch KALUNA is a completely new overdrive/distortion pedal, whose 100% analog circuitry is based on a 250-volt ECC83/12AX7 double triode tube. The high voltage required for this type of tube circuitry is generated independently inside the pedal from the standard 9V power supply and is responsible for the "right" overtone content, the certain overdrive transparency, the percussive attack behavior and the typically complex compression that we all know and love from overdriven tube amplifiers.

Das Vahlbruch BBQ-XL ist ein vielseitiges Pedal, das als Clean-Booster, Equalizer und High-End-Buffer dient. Es ist kompakt und pedalboardfreundlich. Das Pedal kann als Booster genutzt werden, um den Amp lauter zu machen. Man kann es aber auch so einstellen, dass es den Sound eines bereits verzerrenden Amps aufräumt. Dann klingt der Amp wie ein 3-Kanal-Monster. Außerdem kann der "BBQ-XL" dabei helfen, verschiedene Gitarren an Deinen Verstärker anzupassen, ohne dass Du während der Show einen Regler drehen musst. Es gibt noch viel mehr Einsatzmöglichkeiten! Die High-End Buffer/Line-Driver-Schaltung sorgt dafür, dass das Signal auch bei langen Kabeln und vielen Effekten nicht verloren geht. Man kann das Pedal auch für Bass und Akustikgitarren verwenden.

BBQ-XL

The "SpaceTime" is a handmade echo pedal which combines in a unique way the advantages of analog and digital audio circuits. This results in a warm and deep sounding delay pedal, which is easy to operate and able to create analog delay typical self-oscillations. Your direct (dry) guitar signal is completely preserved in the analog domain - there is no latency for your original guitar signal! In a carefully designed parallel signal path only the generation of the echo signal is realized digitally.

SpaceTime v2 Delay/Echo

The BBQ combines in an original and 100% analog circuit a high-end Buffer, Booster and eQualizer (= BBQ) in a small pedal format. Let's take a closer look at the three sections of the BBQ:
The BBQs buffer eliminates impedance matching problems and avoids annoying loss of treble and dynamics that can occur with long cables and effect pedal chains.
The BBQ is the perfect booster to overdrive an amp's input stage, but it can also help to clear up a crunchy amp (minus booster). The volume can be adjusted over a wide and practical range from -8dB to +16dB.
The extremely effective equalizer section of the BBQ (+/-15dB for each band) is so versatile that only the user's imagination sets its limits. It allows, among other things, to comfortably match signal levels or balance different instruments better. You can also add an additional sound option or gain stage to your overdrive pedal, e.g. with reduced bass and boosted mids for more punch and clarity. If the BBQ is used after an overdrive pedal, it can of course also act as a volume boost for lead parts or as a dedicated sound shaping tool for your specic drive sound.

Der Vahlbruch "Phaser" ist sehr flexibel, weil man zusätzliche Regler hat. Man kann damit auch "Univibe"- und "Leslie"-ähnliche Klänge und die berühmten 4-Stufen-Phasingsounds machen. Die Kombination von "Speed" und "Depth" erzeugt Sounds, die mit Vintage-Pedalen nicht möglich sind.

Die Lautstärke des Phaser-Pedals kann über den Mix-Knopf eingestellt werden. So kann man das Pedal auch als Verstärker oder Puffer verwenden, mit oder ohne Phaser-Effekt.

The Vahlbruch ‘Phaser’ is very flexible because you have additional controls. You can also use it to create ‘Univibe’- and ‘Leslie’-like sounds and the famous 4-stage phasing sounds. The combination of ‘Speed’ and ‘Depth’ creates sounds that are not possible with vintage pedals.
