Das Holy Grail Plus ist ein sehr segensreicher Nachfolger seines Vorgängers, dem Holy Grail. Ich weiss nicht ob nur meins so stark rauschte oder ob ich ein Montagsmodell erwischt hatte, jedenfalls war das alte Pedal nur bedingt einsetzbar.

Das TA-24 Treble Booster ist ein handgefertigtes Boutique-Pedal aus Deutschland, das eine klassische Germanium-Transistorschaltung nutzt, um bis zu 30 dB Verstärkung zu liefern. Es unterscheidet sich von Standard-Rangemaster-Klonen durch seine hohe Flexibilität und einen passiven Hochpassfilter mit sechs wählbaren Stufen, die von Full-Range-Boost bis hin zu scharfen Hochfrequenz-Anhebungen reichen. Die Schaltung ist darauf ausgelegt, harmonische Färbung und eine röhrenähnliche Sättigung hinzuzufügen, ohne den natürlichen Klang des Instruments zu maskieren. Es wurde ursprünglich unter dem Markennamen Telenordia eingeführt und später von Tortenmann weitergeführt, wobei die hohen Fertigungsstandards und die Verwendung hochwertiger diskreter Komponenten beibehalten wurden. Das Pedal wird von namhaften Künstlern wie Thom Yorke (Radiohead) und Ryan Adams geschätzt.

The TA-24 Booster is a versatile electrical instrument preamplifier that allows up to 30dB of full-range level boost, with the additional possibility to switch in a high-pass filter with various selectable corner frequencies. The Gain ist continously adjustable, a Tone control offers an additional means of sound shaping.

Although primarily designed for the use with an electrical guitar, it may also be used with other instruments. Being very similar in circuitry to the TA-23 Booster, it is based on discrete germanium transistor circuitry and will therefore always add a flavour to the sound, especially at high gain settings.

The TA-100 Overdrive is a musical instrument effects unit that produces the classical sound of an overdriven tube amplifier and delivers up to 40dB of gain. Gain and output level are independently adjustable, a Tone control allows the attenuation of the high frequency content of the signal.

It is a unique design that is completely based on germanium semiconductors. Although primarily designed for the use with an electrical guitar in conjunction with a tube amplifier, it may also be used with an electrical bass or other instruments.

The TF-1 Filter Booster is a versatile electrical instrument preamplifier that allows for frequency selective level boost in various filter shapes. Six frequency center points covering the whole range of an electric guitar, bass or similar instruments are available for a boost of up to 18dB, with the amount of boost being continously adjustable.

The shape of the filter curve can be either low shelf, bell or high shelf, with the possibility of blending between the three configurations.

TF-1 Filter Booster

The TK-23 Kompressor is a powerful musical instrument effects unit that automatically reduces audio peaks and/or raises the level of soft passages. An electro-optical attenuation system that provides up to about 25dB of gain reduction provides a fast, but natural sounding compression effect. A special feature of the TK-23 is the possibilty to alter its response to strong transients by reducing its sensitivity to peaks without changing the attack time. This makes the TK-23 especially useful for highly dynamic, attack-rich instruments like electric guitars or basses.

As the internal circuitry is, like all Telenordia products, derived from the germanium transistor-based TA-23 Booster, the TK-23 shall not be considered a linear, but rather a unique device with a prominent sound characteristic.
