Description

The Tonehunter Deep Impact is a high-end preamp with unique features: It combines compressor and overdrive circuits to simulate classic and modern bass amps. The overdrive circuit can be fine-tuned from clean to fat distortion using the gain control. This brings back memories of old bass tube heads. In the fuzz position, the signal is even more pronounced with additional overtones. The switchable compressor circuit makes the signal even more powerful and dense - without distorting the basic tone. The special feature of the Tonehunter Deep Impact: when switched on, the low bass range remains completely neutral. The Deep Impact always works with the uncut full signal. The Deep Impact is the new all-round tool with unbeatable sonic quality and enormous versatility.
