Description
The Telefunken TDP-1 is a premium mono passive direct box engineered to deliver a warm, harmonically rich tone while maintaining instrument transparency. At its core is a custom-wound OEP/Carnhill transformer made in the UK, paired with high-quality through-hole components including WIMA and Nichicon capacitors. The circuit features gold-plated traces and a "less is best" design philosophy to ensure extremely low distortion and a wide frequency response. Built with a rugged extruded aluminum chassis, it is designed for maximum reliability in both studio and touring environments.
