The Tech 21 SansAmp Classic Reissue is an all-analog guitar and bass preamp pedal designed to deliver the warm, rich tones of classic tube amplifiers with direct-to-PA or bass rig capability. It includes four main knob controls: Presence Drive, Amplifier Drive, Output, and High (tone), plus a three-position Input switch (Lead, Normal, Bass) for preamp voicings and a bank of eight Character switches to alter harmonic content, dynamics, and tonal nuance. The built-in analog speaker simulation reproduces preamp, power amp, and speaker behavior, making it suitable for recording and live DI use. Made in the USA and largely unchanged from the original 1989 design, it has been reissued in limited quantities for 2026.
