FB-2 Feedbacker/Booster

Each one of the six atmospheric modes (Modulated, Shimmer, Echo, Tremble, Voices, and Infinity) has the same basic character as the normal reverb mode, whilst adding its own unique twist. Das Digitech Freqout Natural Feedback Creator Effektpedal gehört zu den eher exotischen Vertretern im Pedalboard. Es widmet sich der Erzeugung von Rückkopplungen, die zwar zum Repertoire jedes gepflegten (Rock-) Gitarristen gehören, aber üblicherweise nur mit entsprechender Lautstärke und der Interaktion zwischen Amp, Box und Gitarre möglich sind. Mit dem E-Bow, der seit Mitte der 70er Jahre erhältlich ist, gibt es bereits ein Werkzeug, das die Saiten per Magnetfeld beliebig lang in Schwingung versetzt, indem es über die gewünschte Saite gehalten wird. Oder den Sustainer von Fernandes, ein Pickup, der ebenfalls die Saiten zum Schwingen bringt, wenn er per Schalter dazu aufgefordert wird. Und natürlich muss beim Umbau der Gitarre einer der vorhandenen Tonabnehmer dem Sustainer weichen.

Suhr’s Discovery delay pedal represents Kevin Suhr’s ground-up reimagining of analog echo, aimed squarely at modern guitarists who crave the sounds of the past with the convenience of digital functionality. 

This pedal begins with an all-analog circuit path comprising four reissue MN3005 bucket brigade analog chips. The result? A seriously impressive 40–1100ms range that’s expandable to 17–2,000ms using the Discovery’s subdivision and tap tempo controls. The vintage-inspired formula continues with the Discovery’s moody modulation section, complete with three different waveform selections to envelope your echoes with wispy warble and rushing chorus.
