Description
The Buffer is a very simple solution to a very annoying problem - dull tone. Dull tone can be caused by long cable runs, extended effects chains, cables with high resistance or capacitance, non true bypass effects, etc. True bypassed pedals are also a cause of dull tone; every extra true bypassed pedal you add to your effects chain increases both resistance and capacitance in your signal chain due to the added patch cables and connections. It is generally good practice to use a buffer in your signal chain, placed as close to the guitar as possible for maximum effectiveness. The result will be a livelier tone with great response and high end sparkle you never thought you had!Media
