The Cat King is the “king sized” version of our Cat Tail, a low to high gain distortion with overdrive capabilities (some even say at high gain settings, it sounds like a fuzz). This circuit is based on a well-loved, classic distortion that make a clean amp dirty and a dirty amp disgusting. We have tweaked the original circuit to better meet the needs of guitarists and bassists alike. With the addition of a diode toggle for extra tweakability for clipping options, we have added to the modifications the Beavis double resistor mod (Clipping 1 and 2 pots) to allow the user to subtly fine tune how the signal clips on the highs and lows.

Harmonic Booster

Der VONG Filter ist ein multifunktionales Tool. Er hat eine Eingangsimpedanz von 10M und kann so für magnetische und piezoelektrische Tonabnehmer verwendet werden. Mit dabei sind ein HighPass-Filter, ein LowPass-Filter sowie ein DI-Out mit Groundliftschalter. Am Klinkenausgang sind außerdem ein Boost und ein Polaritätsschalter verfügbar.

The VONG filter is a multifunctional tool. It has an input impedance of 10M and can therefore be used for magnetic and piezoelectric pickups. It includes a high-pass filter, a low-pass filter and a DI-out with ground lift switch. A boost and a polarity switch are also available at the jack output.

Darkglass hat den gleichen Aufbau wie beim B7K Ultra verwendet. Alle Potis und Hebelchen sitzen an der gleichen Stelle, auch die Fußschalter für Bypass und Distortion sitzen an den gleichen Stellen. Auch ein DI Out ist wieder dran. Einen signifikanten optischen Unterschied gibt es aber doch: Die Front ist silbern statt schwarz. In meinen Augen sieht das Pedal dadurch sehr viel edler aus.

When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Although our original Compressor sounded great on bass (and still does!) we set out to do even better. 
On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a fully variable sidechain high pass filter, and a two position ‘tone + colour’ circuit which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.
