Genau wie das inzwischen nur noch auf dem Gebrauchtmarkt erhältliche M159 MXR Stereo Tremolo bietet MXRs Neuausgabe ebenfalls einen Stereo-Signalweg und kommt mit gleich sechs verschiedenen Tremolo-Modi ins Haus geschneit.

The MXR Tremolo's six tremolo waveforms represent classic and iconic sources of the effect as well as new sounds concocted by the MXR design team. First, the MXR style recreates the organic sound and pulse of the much beloved M159 MXR Stereo Tremolo. Next, the Bias style takes after the lush, power-soaked compression of tremolo effects that came equipped on early 1960s tube amplifiers. The Revo style, an original innovation, turns the optical tremolo waveform backwards for more exaggerated peaks and valleys. The Opto style emulates the smooth pulsating tremolo generated by photo cells in many popular amplifiers. Inspired by an iconic outboard effect, the SQR setting produces choppy, super pronounced tremolo. Finally, the Harm style recreates the trippy, phase-like tremolo produced by certain rare vintage amplifiers.

Finally you can get those 80’s vintage rack chorus sounds that define killer chorus sounds.  This was not an easy development.  It is a tough and difficult thing to accomplish in such a small package.  And, Keeley couldn’t leave good enough alone.  They came up with a new Rotary Cabinet package that gives you a proximity control.  This controls how far away you are from the spinning speaker cabinet.  This adds a depth and distance to the cabinet and is a touch like a reverb control.  It gives you that spatial expanse that can give you presence or depth in the chorus-like rotations.  Lastly, while we were spinning things, we crafted a RotoFlange sound that has a simple negative feedback control.  Easy to use and gets you the most classic flanger sounds possible."

The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

Was soll man über Luke's Sound noch sagen? Er spielt den GAS-789SL seit Jahren und jetzt auch den SL-OD Overdrive vor seinen angezerrten / verzerrten Verstärkern um den Ton noch schneller und differenzierter zu machen, ohne den Grundsound dabei zu ändern. Zwei Overdrive Pedale (Low Gain und High Gain) + Boost Pedal (Clean Boost) mit +20 dB Ausgangslevel Boost (Kippschalter) in einer Box, drei für jedes Pedal getrennte Bass Boost (Kippschalter) um die tiefen Frequenzen zu pushen, ohne dass der Sound matschig wird = variabler geht es nicht. Dabei ist der SL-OD gerade mal 14,5 cm breit!

Other companies need a lot of buttons for a good sound, we only need 3 for each overdrive pedal and 2 for the clean boost pedal. From slightly distorted bass with tube sound character to completely distorted - no problem for the LDP (OD/CB). The overdrive pedals (Low Gain and High Gain) have two separate deep boost (toggle switches) to push the lower frequencies without getting muddy. The clean boost with deep boost (toggle switch) gives a lot of pressure to the sound and up to +20 dB (toggle switch) output level. From sweet to neutral to funky, the clean boost active tone control does it all. The new LDP DELUXE is just 5.7 inch wide! Three completely different sounds => one pedal for a professional bass sound.

The Rodenberg Killmister is a pedal designed for guitarists, specifically an automatic kill switch effect pedal. It allows for a range of kill times, from 100ms to 400ms, which can be set using a rotary switch. The pedal can be used as a hard kill before an amplifier or in the signal chain to reduce switching noise. The Killmister also features a red status LED that lights up during the kill time. It is available in a compact mini XS housing with a sleek design and “killer instinct”.
