Soft clipping diodes add just the right amount of grit. String clarity is where it’s at and chords ring out true and clear. The tone control is a low pass filter to dial in the right amount of brightness for your amp. There is plenty of volume on tap so you can rock-it your amps preamp or favorite drive pedal into clipping.
