Thomas & Simone RhPf Electronics

Lenny, frontman of M.O.T.H.E.R. from Biel/Bienne, brings a sound that’s gritty, raw, and full of attitude. With punchy riffs and a voice to match, he builds his core tone by pushing his amp hard—no classic drive pedals needed. Instead, both EQs (BOSS GE-7 and MXR Ten Band) are used as powerful boosts, slamming the amp into that unmistakable, edge-of-breakup tube growl.

Central to his setup is the RhPf Electronics Tri-Hormonic Phalanx. Lenny sets the highs and lows for clean, focused boost, while the mids get dialed in for a crunchy, saturated bite. This lets him carve out punch and clarity, while the midrange cuts through with emotion and grit—never muddy, always bold.

Modulation and color come from the Orange Phaser, BOSS Harmonist, Multi Overtone, and Echoplex Delay, with the Hall of Fame 2 adding depth when needed. Power and routing are handled by the Truetone 1Spot Pro and Radial Catapult.

The Echoplex EP-3 tape echo unit is famous for its deliciously warm, organic modulation and sweet musical voice—a key component to some of the most iconic guitar tones from the '70s onward. The original EP-3 units, however, are expensive, temperamental, and larger than a VCR.

That's where the EP103 Echoplex Delay comes in. It's the size of a Phase 90, and it delivers the EP-3's legendary tones with a simple control interface and a hi-fi all-analog dry path. The Delay control sets the time between repeats—from 65ms to 750ms—the Sustain control sets the number of repeats, and the Volume control sets the output level of your repeats.

Poolside conversations while staring at your own reflection. The depths of which shall never be known, at least not for another couple thousand years. So it goes.

Before the reflection, is the experience. Before phenomena, or even noumena, is that which is undefinable. That which has never been heard, that which will never be heard again and that which has always been heard but never listened to.

K-field (Simulation mathematics), an  undefined, two-dimensional, non-linear field where past and future forces interact at irregular intervals. Shallow Water generates this k-field by randomly modulating a short time delay to create unexpected shifts in pitch. The result is this non cyclical vibrato/chorus/flanger-type thing favouring old tape flavours.

The water is shallow on this side of the pool. Do not dive and you will not drown.

Gespielte Noten aus dem Halo 'tanzen rhythmisch' und erzeugen fast eine Reverb-ähnliche Diffusion. Diese Noten werden mit Tape-ähnlichen Effekten wie Modulation, Sättigung und Kompression zusammengehalten. Das Pedal bietet neben Andy Timmons Signature Delay Tone die Möglichkeit eigene Sounds zu kreieren und als Preset zu speichern. Andy Timmons' mysterious sounding 'Halo' effect is a modulated dual echo sound that has long been kept a secret by the tone wizard himself and he spent decades combining and crafting the sounds you can get from the Keeley Halo effects pedal. Notes from the Halo dance rhythmically, almost creating a reverb diffusion. Those notes are held together with tape-style effects like modulation, saturation, and compression. The pedal comes loaded with Andy Timmons' signature delay tone and you can program your own sounds and save them as presets. Easily bounce between Side A and B on the fly, essentially giving you two delay pedals in one.
