The Retro-Sonic Distortion pedal is based on the classic RAT design, features true bypass with Distortion, Tone, Ratness and level controls providing many tonal possibilities from subtly distorted blues tones through classic rock and metal. ​The new Ratness control adjusts the higher frequency gain. This gives the Distortion user the option to tailor the overall response of the pedal to taste, by reducing or increasing the mix of high or low end content. More tonal flexibility can be explored through multiple clipping options via a three-position mini toggle switch that selects symmetrical-diode, asymmetrical-diode, or LED clipping. ​The Distortion is built using metal film resistors, film capacitors, and a double-sided circuit board for noise free operation.
