Es handelt sich um einen Fulltone-OCD-Klon, der für alle gedacht ist, die Mike Fuller von Fulltone aufgrund seiner dokumentierten Verfehlungen nicht unterstützen möchten. Alles sieht aus und klingt größtenteils wie das Original-OCD, nur in meinem eigenen „Helltone“-Stil. Das Design ist eine Mischung aus mehreren Versionen der vielen verschiedenen Iterationen des Fulltone-OCD-Pedals, ähnelt aber am ehesten den Versionen v1.4 und v1.7. Die aktuelle Version enthält meine eigenen Verbesserungen, nämlich einen intern umgehbaren Ausgangspuffer mit einem Trimmpotentiometer, um die hohen Frequenzen zurückzufahren und so auf Wunsch einen wärmeren Klang zu erzielen. Die ursprünglichen Fulltone OCDs hatten Probleme mit der Ausgangsimpedanz, die dazu führten, dass sich der Klang des Pedals und die Ausgangslautstärke je nach Eingangsimpedanz des nächsten aktivierten Pedals in der Kette änderten. Mein Update beseitigt dieses Problem, ermöglicht es Ihnen aber dennoch, die Wärme einzustellen, die durch Puffer verloren gehen kann. Das Pedal verfügt über professionell UV-gedruckte Grafiken. Ich habe dem Druck eine zusätzliche Glanzschicht hinzugefügt, um ihm ein erstklassiges, plastisches Aussehen und Gefühl zu verleihen.

The current version includes my own improvements, namely an internally bypassable output buffer with a trim pot to dial back the high end frequencies to deliver a warmer sound, if desired. The original Fulltone OCD's had output impedance issues that caused the tone of the pedal and output volume to change depending on the input impedance of the next activated pedal in the chain. My update eliminates this issue but still enables you to dial in the warmth that buffers can remove. The pedal includes professionally UV printed graphics. I've added an extra layer of gloss on the print to give it a primo raised look and feel.

The Peepee is the preamp section of the Peavey Decade amp with a few tweaks to make it shine in a pedal format. The Decade is part of the lineage of teal stripe Peavey practice amps that so many people have had sitting around in their bedrooms since the 80’s. For years you could find these amps for next to nothing in pawn shops and thrift stores until recently when Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age publicly proclaimed his affinity for them. Prices skyrocketed up to $1,000 for this "secret weapon" tone machine and several pedal builders have since sought this journey to pedalize the thing, often with price tags to match the hype. Similar pedals found their way onto pedalboards from St Vincent to The Strokes.The Peepee is THE ONLY pedal version of the Decade circuit to have a STUPID, JUVENILE name and design, and it is also the CHEAPEST. The Peepee can both do subtle overdrive and high gain with plenty of EQ options for tone shaping and significant boosting available. Unzip and let that golden tone flow.

PeePee

It's a super powerful clean boost styled after the Zvex Super Hard on. At unity gain (all the way down) it adds a little zing to the tone. From there, it can go from light overdrive to completely fucking up the input of your amp, preamp or dirt pedals to the next level. The Boner Pill doesn't add any distortion of it's own, instead it simply boosts the signal so much (around 35dB) that it will drive and distort anything that it feeds into. Fuck your clean tone, make shit louder!
