It’s a dub-flavoured digital delay (based on our Echo-X delay pedal), that also produces low, throbbing drones that can also be mixed through the delay circuit. If you play shoegaze, doom/heavy/psychedelic rock, or ambient music it’s a fantastic tool for making a powerful base note to play over. Maybe you play in a two piece band? Then it’s essential! The Minibar is a liquid analyser pedal, a truly revolutionary stompbox that uses the properties of a liquid to decide the sound of your guitar!
Rainger FX are inviting you to take part in an experiment in tone-shaping discovery…. This mini-pedal makes no sound at all until you pour liquid into it – any kind at all – and the various qualities of that liquid decide the amount – and to some degree the quality – of the distortion, and also the amount of treble and bass. What you use to do this is entirely up to you – any sort of mixture you can dream up!

Minibar

This pedal is the new mini version of the Air Traffic Controller – but with a switchable filter. The overdrive circuit (not switchable) is from the – now discontinued – El Distorto, so this is actually a two-in-one pedal. With the filter on and some white noise blended in it gives a’ moogy-soloing’ hi-resonance funk sound, or a stinging and intense lead tone. Filter off gives our tweaked mid-rangey optimum fuzz (as loved by Billy Gibbons).

White noise hiss is a feature often ignored in ‘synth’ pedals, but it can add a great texture to the tone. Here it’s blendable; have none at all, just a clear zing – or crank it up towards electro percussion….

Air Space Invader 2

The Air Traffic Controller mixes a Rainger FX optimum distortion circuit with a white noise 'hiss' generator, and sends the sound through a low pass filter. The cut-off frequency of the filter is controlled in three possible ways; by the envelope of the note (the volume), the pitch of the note, or in a random mode.

This gives variations ranging from a biting edgy funk tone, to airy whisps of sound (hence the name), from fusiony solo-ing with 'synth tracking' to dense shoe-gazy walls of distortion, guitar / electronic-percussion morphing... It's a hugely flexible palette of sounds that's never been possible before.

Air Traffic Controller

The Pull Focus is a high gain distortion pedal, with either a reverb or chorus effect fading in after a short while. 

The distortion is all analog, the reverb, chorus and the fade-in are all digital. 
Plus there’s a noise gate too, which unobtrusively keeps the pedal silent when you’re not playing.

It’s very intuitive and fun to use!
It’s a multi-effects pedal, of a very particular kind….
