Der Radial JR-5™ ist eine Fernbedienung mit mehreren Schaltern, die für den Radial JX44 V2 Concert Touring Guitar & Amp Signal Manager und den JX42 V2 Guitar and Amp Switcher entwickelt wurde. Er verfügt über 5 Fußschalter, mit denen Instrumente oder Verstärker ausgewählt werden können. Im Inneren befindet sich ein programmierbarer Speicherchip (PIC-programmierbarer Interrupt-Controller), der über Speicherbänke programmiert oder im manuellen Modus verwendet werden kann. Eine Reihe von fünf ¼-Zoll-Momentkontakten kann zudem verwendet werden, um Schalterbefehle von einem MIDI-Controller zu übertragen und so den JR-5 sowie den JX44 V2 oder JX42 V2 fernzusteuern.

The Radial JR-5™ is a multi-switch remote control designed for the Radial JX44 V2 Concert Touring Guitar & Amp Signal Manager and the JX42 V2 Guitar and Amp Switcher. It features 5 footswitches that can be used to select instruments or amplifiers. Inside is a programmable memory chip (PIC programmable interrupt controller) that may be programmed using banks or used in manual mode. A series of five ¼″ momentary contact closures may also be used to translate switch commands from a MIDI controller to remotely control the JR-5 and the JX44 V2 or JX42 V2.
