Designed to provide remote foot control capabilities for compatible hardware switchers and routing devices, this heavy-duty latching footswitch facilitates hands-free selection between multiple audio paths or operational states. It features a rugged mechanical switch housed in a high-visibility yellow and black chassis, utilizing a push-on, push-off action to maintain the selected active or passive state. Connectivity is handled via a combination 1/4-inch TRS and XLR jack alongside an alternate XLR connector, accommodating standard instrument or balanced microphone lines. The unit functions primarily as a passive device requiring no local power source, but can derive power from a connected host device when active mode is engaged to drive local status LED indicators.
