Das RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 ist eine Pass-Through-Box, die speziell für Gitarristen und Bassisten entwickelt wurde. Du kannst das MOD 1 V2 nutzen um mehrere Pedale deines Setups im Front End und im Effekt-Loop des Verstärkers zu postieren (4-Kabel Methode) oder die vier TRS-Anschlüsse als zentralen Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen. Die XLR-Through-Verbindung kann als Signalausgang vom Pedalboard zum Mischpult oder zur PA verwendet werden.

The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

Oft kopiert aber nie erreicht, rangiert das schwer zu findende, originale, Phase 90 bei den Sammlern alter Bodentreter ganz weit oben. Das Original - seit der Gründung der Firma Dunlop bis in die späten 70er Jahre erhältlich – definierte den klassischen Phase Shifter Sound und war in allen Musikstilen zu hören, egal ob Hard Rock, Jazz-Fusion oder Funk-Hits. Der nach dem Kultpedal der Firma designte Phaser kommt puritanisch mit einem Regler aus, über den der Phaser-Speed einstellbar ist. Eine rote LED über dem stabilen Fußschalter zeigt den Schaltstatus an. Das massive Spritzgußgehäuse verfügt über jeweils 1/4" Klinke In- und Out-Eingänge. Betrieben wird der Kulttreter mit einer 9V Batterie, die in einem leicht zugänglichen Batteriefach auf der Unterseite Platz findet. Es ist erhältlich in der ursprünglichen orangenen Farbe.

Der King Alex II ist ein High-Gain-Distortion-Effekt, der für aggressive und stark gesättigte Sounds ausgelegt ist. Er liefert einen dichten, komprimierten Klang mit langem Sustain und ausgeprägtem Obertonspektrum. Die Schaltung ist auf moderne, harte Spielarten abgestimmt und bewahrt dennoch eine gute Notentrennung. Sie reagiert straff auf Palm-Mutes und schnelles Riffing. Das Particle 2 ist ein granulares Delay / Pitch Shifting Pedal. Das Signal wird in kleine Stücke zerhackt und dann neu zusammengesetzt, geshiftet und verworren. Dabei werden die Techniken der Granular Synthese in Echtzeit verwendet. Die Ergebnisse reichen von radikaler Pitch- und Delay-Modulation über Shimmer Repeats bis hin zu Time-Stretching-, Stutter und Glitch-Sounds. Es ist ein komplettes Re-Design der Version 1, das viele Verbesserungen für den Live-Einsatz und eine bessere Klangqualität beinhaltet. Im nun kleineren Gehäuse können 127 Presets gespeichert werden. Die Verzögerungszeit wurde auf 2500 ms verlängert und gleichzeitig die Sampling Rate erhöht. Tap-Tempo ermöglicht die Einstellung von Verzögerungszeit, LFO-Rate, Korngröße und Dichte mit unabhängigen Taktunterteilungen. Ein Expression Pedal kann einer beliebigen Kombination von Knöpfen zugewiesen werden. Der separat erhältliche DIY-freundliche Red Panda Remote 4 Fußschalter ermöglicht zusätzlich die Steuerung per Fuß, während der Particle zum Drehen an den Reglern auf Tischhöhe steht. Die acht Modi können kombiniert werden, um die Fähigkeiten der Granular Synthese noch weiter auszuloten können, und MIDI (über USB) ermöglicht den Zugriff auf zusätzliche Parameter.

Particle 2 is a granular delay / pitch shifting pedal. It chops your signal into small grains and then rearranges, shifts, and mangles it, using the techniques of granular synthesis in real time. Results range from radical pitch and delay modulation to shimmering repeats to time stretching, stutter, and glitch sounds. It is a complete redesign of version 1, incorporating many improvements for live use and better sound quality.  In the smaller enclosure 127 presets can be stored. Delay time has been extended to 2500 ms, at a higher sampling rate. Tap tempo allows delay time, LFO rate, grain size, and density adjustment with independent note divisions.  The expression pedal is assignable to any combination of knobs, and Red Panda's separately available DIY-friendly Remote 4 switch allows foot control while the Particle sits at table height for knob tweaking.  The eight modes can be combined to explore more granular synthesis territory, and MIDI (via USB) gives access to additional parameters.

Der EarthQuaker Devices Plumes basiert auf dem legendären grünen Overdrive Pedal, das seit Jahrzehnten als Industriestandard gilt. Im Zusammenspiel mit einem guten Röhrenverstärker erzeugt der Plumes eine warme, transparente Sättigung. EarthQuaker verzichtet auf den bewährten JRC4558 OpAmp und die BJT Buffer und ersetzt sie in der Schaltung durch Low Noise JFET OpAmps für einen präziseren Sound mit deutlich geringerem Grundrauschen. Mit 10 Megaohm Eingangsimpedanz bietet das Pedal einen wunderbar klaren, detaillierten Sound. Der Arbeitsbereich des Tone-Reglers wurde ebenfalls angepasst um mit einem satteren Low End ein breiteres Spektrum an möglichen Sounds zu bieten. 

Zusätzlich bietet der Plumes drei wählbare Clipping-Modi um den Sound des Pedals an möglichst viele Stilrichtungen und unterschiedlichstes Equipment anpassen zu können. Mode 1 bietet symmetrisches Clipping, basierend auf einem Paar LEDs. Das Setting bietet den sattesten Crunch und den klassischen Sound eines übersteuerten Röhrenverstärkers. Mode 2 ist ein Clean Boost ohne Soft Clipping, perfekt um den Clean Sound im Mix nach vorne zu bringen oder den Preamp eines Verstärkers in die Sättigung zu fahren. Mode 3 nutzt asymmetrisches Clipping mit Silizium Dioden und klingt am ehesten nach einem originalen Screamer. Im direkten Vergleich liefert das Setting aber mehr Output und klarere Clean Sounds.

Darüber hinaus verfügt der Plumes auch über EarthQuaker Devices 'Soft Touch' Flexi-Switch-Funktion, mit der du im Handumdrehen zwischen Momentary Modus und traditionellem Latching wählen kannst.

The EarthQuaker Devices Plumes is based on the legendary green overdrive pedal, which has been the industry standard for decades. In combination with a good tube amp, the Plumes creates a warm, transparent saturation. EarthQuaker Devices relinquishes the trusted JRC4558 OpAmp and BJT Buffers and replaces them with low noise JFET OpAmps for a more robust and precise signal with a significantly lower noise floor. With 10 megohms of input impedance, the pedal provides a stronger signal with more clarity and chime. EarthQuaker Devices adjusted the cutoff of the tone control to deliver a more useful range of travel with more booming bass on the low end without sacrificing the cutting midrange and bright top end.

In addition, the Plumes offers three selectable clipping modes to ensure that it will work with a wide variety of gear and playing styles. Mode 1 is symmetrical clipping based on a pair of LEDs. This is the crunchiest setting the Plumes has to offer. When played through a clean amp, it will deliver that classic crunchy valve amp tone. Mode 2 is a clean boost without soft clipping and with straight OpAmp drive, perfect for pushing your clean tone out in front or driving the preamp of an already overdriven amp into breakup saturation. Mode 3 is an asymmetrical silicon diode arrangement like an original screamer but with more output and clean clarity.

The Plumes features EarthQuaker Devices relay-based 'soft touch' Flexi-Switch Technology for both momentary and latching footswitch operation.
