The micro-Thumpinator is a bandwidth optimizer designed for bass guitar. It removes the low frequency signals that are outside the range of notes produced by the instrument.

Infrasonic frequencies cannot be reproduced by standard bass cabinets but they often make amplifiers clip, especially when they are set to boost the lower frequencies. The Thumpinator filters the signal content optimising the energy delivered by the amplifier. Low-frequency clip is substantially reduced and the sound is tighter especially at high volume levels.

The micro-Thumpinator accepts instrument and line level signals. It can be used between preamplifier and amplifier, between bass and amplifier or anywhere in the effect chain (line or instrument level). It can also be connected directly to an audio interface.

The Meris Ottobit Jr. is arcade dreams reborn! It brings an era when silicon defined sonics that were burned in our memory for years back to live and directly to your pedalboard. Angelo of Meris was asked to design a filter to tame the harsher bitcrush settings. And damn, that filter sounds good… almost like an analog synth. There is an infinite amount of cool sounds you can get out of this pedal, so that’s what drove the decision to add MIDI and presets under the hood. To call it a bitcrusher would be an insult. The triggered stutter and pitch/filter/crush sequencers take you to side scrolling, coin collecting maze worlds. When we decided to create a studio-class stereo delay effects pedal, we knew we must go well beyond what has been done in the past—in sound quality, sonic flexibility, hardware design, and processing power. We spent months locked up in the Strymon sound design labs dreaming up the most spacious, lush, creative, and tweakable delay effects ever heard. The Blade is a custom-designed boost that allows any metal player to sculpt their tone and find total sonic perfection. We had to ensure that guitarists Zach, Alex, and Ben had a pedal that would perfectly shape each part of Whitechapel’s Signature tone.
