The MC404 CAE Wah was developed by Bob Bradshaw of Custom Audio Electronics and the Cry Baby design team with the goal of creating a highly versatile wah-wah of top-grade components. It features dual Fasel inductors with two distinct voices (high-end emphasis or low to mid resonance), and a built-in MXR MC401 Boost/LineDriver adds even more flexibility. Choose between inductors and turn the boost on or off with the side-mounted kickswitches; bright LEDs on each side of the wah indicate operation status. The MC404 boasts true hardwire bypass, a long-life CTS potentiometer, and internal pots for "Q" and gain adjustments.

The PAL800-V4 GOLD Overdrive is a modified circuit of the JCM800 amp, replacing the vacuum tubes for very selected transistors carefully setup to perform the same way in each stage of pre-amplification, this 100% analog circuit is OP- Amp free and also clipping diodes free, all the pre-amplification and saturation are coming from the selected transistors the same way as the tubes in the JCM800 amp.

The name says it all! Based on the famous 1987X 50-Watt PLEXI circuit, where we have replaced the vacuum tubes for very unique transistors carefully set-up to perform the same way in each stage of pre-amplification.

Taking into consideration all the mods that have been made on the 50-Watt PLEXI and other models like the JCM800, we were able to increase the attack, sustain, and cut out low frequencies to get this custom mid-range response.

Compared to the 800 and 959 series, the PAL987 PLEXI CARRERA has an improved Gain knob to get a better tone structure response as you change the gain setting, an active circuit instead of a passive one is placed in the Presence knob to nail the same behavior as in the real amp, and a three-way toggle switch with a new feature that allows you to change different parameters in the circuit, increasing the versatility of the pedal.

JCM II Setting: In this setup we keep the original design from the PAL800 GOLD Overdrive that delivers a modern JCM800 tone.
Mod #07: In this setup we add our favorite configuration of the Gain Voicing switch from our PAL800-V3 Gold Overdrive into the circuit, allowing you to get more tone range & structure response in the gain section. 
Mod #34: The Mod #34 is better than ever! This famous modification that can be made in a 1959SLP or JCM800 amp is the main tone of our guitar idol "SLASH" and has been improved in this new version.

The tone of the famous Mod #34 is finally at your feet... SLASH is one of our “Guitar Idols” and to recreate his unique tone in a box has been a total challenge since PedalPalFx was born in 2009. In 2015 with the release of our PAL800 JCM Emulator the possibility to achieve that goal became real... after three years of research, knowledge and experience we are very proud to present our PAL034 NIGHT Overdrive that is based on the famous Mod #34. This pedal follows the same concept design of his older brothers, in this case we take the same circuit schematic that you will find in the Mod #34 using especially selected transistors instead of vacuum tubes. 
The two position TIGHT toggle switch will allow you to increase the versatility of the pedal, in the upper position you will get the Mod #34 Gain Voicing ideal to be use with your favorite Les Paul style guitar with Alnico II humbuckers, and in the second position you will still be on the Mod #34 territory but with a warmer sound ideal to be use with other electric guitar styles.

PAL034 Night Drive

This design is the first version of our 800 series, known to our customers as the "Silver Version". With the PAL800 JCM Emulator now you will have the tone of an era at your feet, this 100% handmade pedal (one by one) uses the same circuit schematic that you will find in the most famous British Amps from the 80's, using especially selected transistors instead of vacuum tubes.
