The Foot Captain is a compact and lightweight expression control pedal that maintains a proper foot feel. Its main feature is the combination of two output modes: Tip output and Ring output. With this, you no longer have to worry about compatibility issues between expression pedals and host devices. You can use the Foot Captain to control almost all effects devices, keyboard devices, and MIDI controllers available on the market.

Foot Captain Expression Pedal

Der MIDI Captain STD ist nicht nur ein MIDI-Controller, sondern ein umfassender musikalischer Performance-Assistent. Er unterstützt das Senden von Program Change (PC), Continuous Control (CC) und Note-Befehlen und bietet vollständig programmierbare Fußschalter. Eine innovative „Time Engine“-Funktion erlaubt das Aufzeichnen und Abspielen von Fußschalter-Aktionen, wodurch komplexe Schaltsequenzen automatisiert werden können. Das Gerät kann über USB tiefgreifend konfiguriert werden (Firmware-/Konfigurationsdateien laden) und bietet mehrere Stromversorgungsoptionen (9 V Netzteil, USB oder Batterie). Die STD-Version (schwarz) verzichtet auf das eingebaute wireless MIDI-Modul, nutzt aber ansonsten dieselben Funktionen wie die Pro-Versionen.

This foot-controller offers ten fully programmable foot-switches and supports a mixture of MIDI Program Change (PC), Control Change (CC), and MIDI Note commands. It features a “Time Engine” function meant to record and automate key-actions (so you can set up complex switch sequences ahead of time). It supports USB deep-setup (via connecting to PC and loading firmware/config files) and has multiple power input options (9 V, USB, battery). The STD version (black) seems to omit built-in wireless MIDI compared to some other versions (so you’ll likely use wired MIDI out or standard USB).
