Der Pico Atomic Cluster ist ein kompaktes „Spectral Decomposer“-Pedal von Electro-Harmonix, das mittels eines speziellen Algorithmus die Frequenzauflösung Ihres Instruments reduziert und damit Oszillationen erzeugt. Mit dem ATOMS-Regler steuern Sie, wie viele gleichzeitige resonante Oszillationen ablaufen; der SPEED-Regler bestimmt, wie schnell die Oszillationen erneuert werden (kann auch über Tap-Tempo eingestellt werden). Weitere Regler sind VOL (Ausgangspegel), BLEND (Mischverhältnis trocken/effekt) und eine MODE-Taste, die zwischen SHARP (sofortige Übergänge) und SMOOTH (weiche Übergänge) wechselt. Ziel sind Rhythmen, lo-fi Glitches, arpeggioartige Klänge bis hin zu Ambient-Pads und Synth-Sounds.

Der Freq-Regler (Frequency) steuert die Mittenfrequenz, auf die der Mid-Regler eingestellt ist, und bietet einen Bereich von 250 Hz bis 2 kHz. The Voyager MKII is a mid-focused overdrive/preamp that contains all the mythical magic from the original Voyager and adds a wealth of features not seen before in a Klon-style pedal. From its lowest to highest settings, the Voyager provides a uniquely superb amount of clarity to any playing style.

At lower gain settings, it brightens the signal and adds clarity to each note. With the gain turned up, the Voyager transforms into a thick overdrive, providing depth to chorded playing while retaining the clarity needed to break through solos.

The Voyager MKII breaks out of the traditional Centaur three-knob topography by adding a foot-switchable parametric mid-frequency EQ with a boost/cut range of +/-12dB. The Freq (Frequency) knob then controls the center frequency of where the Mid knob is set, giving a range of 250Hz-2kHz. Great for accommodating any guitar and pickup combination and tailoring your tone to your own style of playing.

Further customize the Voyager’s sound with the five-way rotary switch:

1: Classic 1N34A Germanium Diodes (most compressed). This is the original Voyager sound.

2: Classic 1N34A Germanium Diodes with bass boost (trust us).

3: Symmetric Silicon Diodes (more open and dynamic).

4: Asymmetric Silicon Diodes (least compressed, open & driven).

5: Asymmetric Silicon Diodes with bass boost (least compressed, open & driven with a bass boost.)

Think of each position as a different “flavor” of the pedal. Fine-tune each of these modes with the Mid/Freq EQ for a near-infinite supply of gain options.

This is my current bass guitar rig that I use to play modern worship and 90's alternative rock.  The board is built around the HX Stomp and the BassRig Super Vintage.  This is very much a work in progress and will probably change in the next few months.

Signal Path - Bass Guitar to the Rockboard Mini Mod TRS where the signal is split into two.  Path A goes straight to the Canvas Tuner, Cali 67 bass comp, and the HX Stomp.  Path A also contains an FX loop that goes to the ToneX One and back to the Left FX Return.  The Tonex is running driven version of the DG Vintage Microtubes that is controlled by a L FX Loop block via FS2 to add some extra dirt when called for.  

Path B is my approximation of the EHX Bass Microsynth.  Path B's signal comes from the micro mod and goes to the Seamoon Octaron and the Big Muff pi 2 (Bass) and terminates at the right FX return on the HX stomp.  Path B is instered into the signal chain by the R FX Return (controlled by FS 3).   

Both paths are summed to mono and then sent out to the BassRig Super Vintage which acts as an Ampeg SVT bass amplifier using the 8x10 "fridge" cabinet. 

Snapshot 1 is my clean path using the Cali 76, HX Stomp (no FX returns) to the Bassrig Super vintage.  

Snapshot 2 is my Overdrive option.  The signal chain inside the HX Stomp is split internally so that all FX are on path B, routed through either the King of Tone or the Timmy depending on what I'm looking for that set. The OD blocks are controlled by FS1.  The L FX Return with the Tonex signal is also on path B.  

Snapshot 3 deactivates everything except the R FX return on path B.  The signal is mixed about 60% wet 40% Dry.  This block is allso controlled by FS 3 which allows me to turn the "SynthMicro" off if we need a sudden drop in dynamics without going back to Snapshot 1.  

FX4 on the Pedalnetics Front Aux box cycles through the snapshots, while FS5 advances to the next preset.  All snapshots have been gainstaged and leveled to betweeen -18 dBfs (SS1) and -12 dBfs (SS3) so the sound engineers don't hate me.

Der Bass Big Muff 2 bietet den charakteristischen Midrange-Grind des Originals mit dem flexiblen EQ und dem nahezu endlosen Sustain, das man von jedem Big Muff erwartet. Die Bass-Version ergänzt die Regler VOL, SUSTAIN und TONE um einen BLEND-Regler und einen BASS BOOST-Schalter. Der BLEND-Regler mischt das trockene und das Fuzz-Signal, um die perfekte Balance der Verzerrung einzustellen, ohne an Klarheit und grundlegenden Tiefen zu verlieren. Betätigen Sie den BASS BOOST-Schalter, um einen noch größeren Effekt zu erzielen, insbesondere wenn Sie den TONE-Regler auf höhere,  höherfrequente Einstellungen stellen. Mit diesen zusätzlichen Reglern kann der Bassist den besten Fuzz-Sound einstellen, ohne dabei auf die Fähigkeit verzichten zu müssen, Wände zum Wackeln und Hallen zum Beben zu bringen.

The Bass Big Muff 2 features the signature midrange grind of the original with the flexible EQ and virtually endless sustain expected in any Big Muff. The Bass version adds a BLEND knob and BASS BOOST switch to the VOL, SUSTAIN, TONE control set. The BLEND knob mixes the dry and fuzz signals to set the perfect balance of distortion without losing clarity and foundational low-end. Flip the BASS BOOST switch to make an even bigger impact, especially while running the TONE knob at higher,  more trebly settings. These added controls let the bass player dial in the best fuzz tone without sacrificing their ability to shake walls and rattle halls.
