This Special Version of the KCM-OD lavishly uses luxury audio-grade parts and has been tuned.

It is equipped with a charge pump IC 27V booster circuit. It has extremely low noise as a result of the creative methods applied, such as careful selection of the parts to be used, placement of the circuit pattern with heavy consideration of noise reduction, and star ground wiring (single point grounding).

In addition, the FAT knob, which newly allows for stepless adjustment for the first time with this V9.0, can push out a bit of the sound from the low side and increase the harmonic components at the same time. It produces the original constant when it is set at the Normal position.

Famous for its woody, organic and beautiful sounds of saturation, these legendary British amplifiers, the Super Lead &amp; Super Bass, have been delivering one of the all-time classic sounds for almost 50 years. Players like Jimmy Page, Paul Kossoff and countless other relied on this type of tone for their signature sound. Xotic has recreated this vintage masterpiece in a rugged small enclosure. The SL Drive offers very amp-like response and cleans up nicely with a roll of your guitar’s volume knob. The internal dip switches allow you to choose the sound characteristics of both 1959 models. The Pork Loin Overdrive incorporates two distinct tonal pathways that are blended together: a modern soft clipping overdrive and a modified classic British preamp for clean. At the heart of the overdrive path is a soft‑clipped BiFET gain stage with a passive Tone control, rounded out by a Curve function that fine‑tunes corner frequencies. The Volume control regulates the masses of “pork power” that emanate from its circuitry, while the Clean control blends in warm, glistening clean tones. Additionally, there are three internal mini‑controls: Filter, Voice, and Drive Mix, for extensive tonal shaping and the ability to run as a clean preamp.

Also machte er sich als Ingenieur daran, ein Pedal zu entwickeln, das seinen Erwartungen und hohen Ansprüchen gerecht werden würde. So wurde 1976 das SCF geboren, und der Rest ist Geschichte, wie man so schön sagt. Aber hey! Niemand hat gesagt, dass die Geschichte zu Ende ist. Im Gegenteil, wir schreiben diese Geschichte weiter. Tatsächlich hat sich der Kreis geschlossen und wir treten in eine neue Ära der SCF-Geschichten ein. Darf ich vorstellen: SCF GOLD - ein legendäres Pedal!
